When I read the title I thought the Griz had picked up a new sponsor (to go along with the JJ Kiss Cam and the Dodge Red Zone). I was really hoping it was Max Factor and not Cover Girl...

Stitt also mentioned Ena might be ready and needed and he stated Chalich is the only QB with any kind of experience and they may have to lean on him a lot, at least in the beginning.mtgrizrule said:AZGrizFan said:You don't have Markell Sanders on that list. The CB transfer from WSU.
Coach Stitt did reference Markell Sander at the recruiting function in Kalispell. Stitt said Sanders will be expected to be a major contributor right away. Sanders was the only new player he mentioned with any kind of expectation this season.

DE - Griz aren't as stong here either (losing Wags) in 2015. But future is tremendous (with the RS-FR, Nick Mertes and Evan Miksich) with Jesse Sims and Andrew Harris.
Holmes and Crittenden will do just fine holding the edges and pressing the QB this season. I think we're in good shape at DE. If Stitt can pull this team together, it could be a darn good season. Can't wait to get this started!
GO GRIZ!

So all these QB's go through spring camp like we expect them to. As most expect the system and style seems to favor Sims, Chalich, Pflug and (Prater?).
My friend recalls Weyer being a pretty decent track athlete especially he recalled him a good high jumper. Could this suggest that Weyer get thrown into the rotation of WR's in order to see playing time? He seemed to recall Weyer also having some decent running ability as a QB which was why the thought of a WR.

Stitt has made it pretty clear that his ideal QB trait isn't speed or arm strength or running ability, but the ability to quickly read the defense and process 25-30 different options, call the play and effectively run the offense.

True, I heard that directly from Stitt at the recruiting banquet in Kalispell. He was pretty insistent on it too. :thumb:

Now, if there happens to be a guy who can do all those things AND has a cannon for an arm, can run through brick walls and has 4.5 speed well then, so be it.
