Ok I took out week 1, week 2, kept Utah Tech because McDowell played more, and took out NAU. This also makes the cats and gris at 12 games in these stats which makes them more comparable
Gris: 2262 yards, 528 attempts, 4.28 average, 26 td. Still rushing the ball more than any other team and the average only went up .5 with McDowell, interesting. Still very low on yards compared to many top teams.
The cats: 3492 yards, 480 attempts, 7.28 average, 41 td. I think we all see a huge difference.
This Difference can’t be explained just by “tougher playoff teams as let’s not act like the gris’ first two weren’t easy games. Either lets agree that the cats have a better rushing o-line or better running backs… both which I think apply here. I would love to see how you can disagree with the stats.
