Haha! What a joke! That program has been the poster child for showing how scheduling cupcakes and avoiding any real regular season challenges can fool a fan base. Ron Ash was less of a FB coach and more of an illusionist.

But CDA, now they have the staff to make them national champs. Why, just ask 33. That guy is right about everything.

I believe 33. I think the Cats will be the favorite until at least early October. I spoke to two guys at a nursing home who say the Cats are "gonna win it all this year." CoachOat has that program on the right track with an unproven staff and a video coordinator calling the plays for a QB who is better than Prekop ever dreamed of being even though he's never taken a snap. Add in Gregorak inheriting a defense almost better than the one he had at Post Falls High School, and it's clear that they are going to be dangerous.

The Griz, however, are going to have some trouble. Coming off yet another multiple game playoff appearance with a returning starting QB and a coach who has already shown that he can beat the best in the FCS, I don't see how we will win a game.

My observation is that you lost a ton of defensive players, lost two of your best coaches, and are commited to stitts system, which by anyone's standards was under whelming at best. Coach Legi was a man and a machine for us. He brought us kids we wouldn't have gotten and coached up the ones we did. The man is going to a much higher paying job and in a place where he fits like a round peg in a round hole. Good luck to a man who bled maroon and silver and MANU SAMOA! to his new position. I wouldn't want to play his front seven anytime soon, he will have them eating taro and pissing kava

I can just imagine the recruiting advantages this staff has. It probably will go something like this:

Have you met our new Offensive Coordinator? Coach Messingham will be personally heading up that project. He used to work for Iowa State! No, the Hawkeyes are actually the University of Iowa. Did any of the Coaches play pro football? Well, no. But Coach Hout was punched in the mouth by a current NFL player. You remember growing up and watching us win a lot of playoff games.
