Krakauer getting defensive?

Way pro Krakauer, and pro Florio. They turned away anyone with Griz gear. <<< Made that up. He said he would have voted for Johnson to be found guilty and much of the audience including Florio applauded.
What I got out of it before the video crashed:
-- He really has no idea why he named the Book "Missoula", but he's not going to apologize for it.
-- He states that he's such a superior writer that he didn't actually need to talk to anyone in order to tell the story he wanted to tell, particularly if they may have had differing opinions.
-- He doesn't like or condone the US system of justice, and he showed a ridiculous and embarrassing lack of respect for the 12 hard-working jurors in the Johnson case.
I think technology did me a favor when it went down....

FWIW, I'm happy he was treated well and professionally. I would have been disappointed by Missoula had it gone any other way. And of course the message of the book is a good one that needs to be addressed. I just don't agree with his process in doing so.

So Captain Kangaroo and Clarabell The Clown held court. Very heart-warming. Fortunately their verdict means exactly the same to me as Krak and Florio combined. Nada, zip, zilch.

When I read the tweets about some guy exploding at end I had envisioned some fat guy decked out in Griz gear hurling insults. I'll give it another listen or two but the guy that got heckled and pissed of Krakauer seemed to want to bring up some legitimate points, and from what I can tell he attempted to do so in a professional and polite manner.
I guess I learned two things tonight. How to clap in sign language and Krakauer is always right. Do not, I repeat DO NOT disagree with the Krakauer.

I thought it was really good,” said Joey Kipp, a 16-year-old student at St. Ignatius High School. “I liked the fact that he gave a personal experience. That’s what I liked about it. When people have reasons for writing books, I guess it just hits home for me.”
Kipp said he was disappointed that a lawyer who questioned Krakauer about whether he engaged in “confirmation bias” was shouted down by the crowd after the interview.
“I also kinda didn’t like the end, how they booed that guy off the stage,” Kipp said. “People in the audience were actually biased when they were doing that. And I think they should have let him talk, I would have liked to hear what he had to say.”
