How the hell can we have so damn many dumb "smart" people? I am looking straight at Royce Engstrom.

Why are we in a period of leaders leading with below average leadership ability? Starts with Obama and runs right through Royce and on down!

And we sit on our butts and allow this to occur?
Well, my investments have quadrupled, my home sold for 8 times what I paid for it last month, my kids are doing well, and my state is creating jobs faster than ever expected with salaries to match while the ports are back upped on both sides. So, I think President Obama has done a great deal right. As for UM, I am beginning to think it is in a race to the bottom and is in dire need of realignment. As for the JSchool, it is history in the making but will soon be history. Yet, at NAU, broadcasts on Big Sky TV and their local area are student run, operated, and maintained and it is quality. Blaming Obama is stupid...I look to the Supreme Court decisions and the least ineffective Congress in a century to point out the failures of this government including the new senator from Montana.

CA is a fucking political and legislative trainwreck, and the ports are backed up because of the longshoreman strike. Union. Just when I think this state can't get any dumber or illogical, it proves me wrong.

Weather's nice.

Too bad your state has taken or will take much of your profit, and that paying for water will take much of the rest of what you have. The new Senator from MT is a great guy. He probably made a heck of lot more in business than you have too.

yep, water is an issue yet millions of more people are moving here from everywhere, including Montana. In fact, isn't CDA here, now? I just got back from Augusta, SC, and Charleston, and next to those places, Calif is booming, yet again. it is not a trainwreck,as you describe, CDA, and you have slightly overlooked the reasons for the port strikes..too much work from too many ships exporting and importing for 2 years before the few days of walk out..but, we all have our opinions and vote with our feet. I cannot complain about anything other than the traffic. Still, the point is, none of this negative crap has one thing to do with President Obama, who, while not the greatest, is certainly the best in decades.

This website says that CA population increased by 371,000 in 2014 and a bit less in each of the prior 2 years. If that's accurate, and millions of people are moving to CA as you say, then a lot of others must be leaving.

Oh yeah, I'm here. Trust me. I'm here. I'm reminded every Friday when I get to see how much Moonbeam and Co. have taken from me YTD to spend on shit I don't care about.

Culver City is ok..it is gentrifying fast but still kinda Beach...great restaurants and lots of younger people. Close to Long Beach which is also active, and not far from the beach towns. Expect heavy traffic..that's just the way it is..I happen to love Southern California with a passion, but, I've never heard anyone NOT like Culver...Unlike what is on Egriz, the attitude is not insufferable negativity and provincial. Avoid the 405 if you can. Millions of tourists coming and going..Pac Coast is slow but fun...Venice is unique and just a short drive from Culver...it is everything you have heard about SoCal that is fun and different. Hope you have a good time.

Downtown Culver is actually pretty cool anymore. They had a lot of development in the last decade or so on Culver Ave., which is kind of the hub. Sony Studios actually moved down there recently too. When I was in Westwood, I used to eat a lot at a place called Rush Street on Culver Ave. They used to make a great burger.

EDIT: I'm happy to report that it's still open. Check it out if you get a shot. http://rushstreetculvercity.com/

Those are legals...the illegals know where the money and jobs are and most seem to be from Israel, Russia, Armenia, China, Korea and all seem to have the bucks to live well here..By the way, I am happy to pay taxes because I have done well here and want others to do so. Sorry, you outlook is so pathetic. But then, it always is....adios.

I don't disagree, but I don't like the CA taxes. I think I would have an easier time with it if I got to choose to whom the money went. Directly. Like, I'll pay for Ted's dinner because he's cool, but Steve gets nothing because he cut me off on the freeway and has a stupid goatee.

What "outlook" of mine are you speaking of? Don't think I've provided any outlook on this subject. I'm just trying to correct your incorrect information. Speaking of incorrect information, so you are saying that millions of illegal immigrants are moving to CA every year? Even if true, which I doubt it is, why would that be a positive for your state?

I just did some CA illegal immigrant checking. See below. If there are only $2.8 illegal immigrants in CA, and the number has only increased 0.3 million in 13 years, how are millions of illegal immigrants moving to CA every year? Literally, the numbers don't seem to add up.

"According to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), an estimated 2,830,000 illegal immigrants resided in California in 2011, compared to 1.5 million in 1990 and 2.5 million in 2000."

Grizla, I am glad for you. Your net worth has greatly improved all because of our president.
Glad also you root for our Griz. Another Cali telling us how it is?
My glad quits now!
Anyone as stupid as you sound concerning the reason your wealth has increased BECAUSE OF OBAMA is simply a democrat. You may blow and glow but you have zero clues as to how the world turns.
In any event I'm happy you clap for the Griz.

With the impending water rationing, I feel bad for Southern Californians and the spike in arsonists fires. Not that it has anything to do with Montana football, the FSC or members of this board...
