Junior...

Junior had a nice return for 24 yards on the opening kickoff. The next kick trickled down to about the 2 and he picked it up with no help in front of him and was lucky to get 14 yards. He took the punt and they were immediately all over him at the time he looked to make a move and so he went to the ground right where he caught it. I have not seen him line up for an offensive snap, but he has plenty of time to work on things in practice. He isn't doing anything that will get him cut these first two games IMO, he was drafted as a return man.

Considering the 9ers have stated that already, that's pretty astute of you. 😆

Granted, all I am saying though is he has time to learn to be a receiver at this level and isn't as much of a project compared to TM who is only a WR. A lot of folks on here seem to think the injury bug is going to help Junior work his way in there and I am not seeing that in the first two weeks of preseason.

Junior with another nice return, 25 yards.

I hate these hometown announcers on the preseason, but I want to vent about something else a minute. What the hell is iconic about Allegiant Stadium? They keep trying to sell tickets to the HBCU classic and calling that, what, three-year-old over hyped glass house iconic. Iconic and epic are the two most overused terms in the English language. And while I'm at it, why is Tom Brady Legendary? He's a real guy. Paul Bunyon is a legend.

Cam Miller in the game now for the faders.

7 Super Bowl rings is indeed LEGENDARY!

There is a better word for that somewhere. I'm not hating on Tom.

It really happened and it's impressive.

It's not carving out the Great Lakes with a blue ox.
You do know that Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox are mythological characters, right? That means they were not real life people/animals.

I don't think he is only a WR. Kick return of 42 yards and a solo tackle on a kickoff can earn you a spot at least on practice squad. Can't teach that speed....he can learn the WR game

Exactly, that is what makes them legends and therefore legendary.

Real people are not legends they actually exist and are often incorrectly labeled as legendary.

He sure is, but he's not the only person with these sentiments. I think Junior has his work cut out for him over the next 2 weeks.
It looked like the Raiders covered kicks well. JB didn't have much room out there. It seems like if a guy isn't consistently popping kickoffs for 40+ he catches shit. He didn't make any egregious mistakes and held onto the football. He is going to make the team.
