They may not have had an agenda, but every "news" story/feature has to have an "angle." That is, some theme that the producers can build a narrative flow around. Preferably, that will have a lot a dramatic conflict. They generally avoid "stories" where the issues are complex or unclear, or they can't identify an obvious villain (or hero, but villains are easier to portray, and more "interesting"). ... FYI, I am paraphrasing, and summarizing, advice from a modern journalism text. I would interpret the silence so far as a sign that they have not yet identified an angle they think they can "sell."

The "problem" for schools using the "UM Blueprint" is that it is a prima facie violation of Title IX, which promotes equality in college activities. So, victims of "lack of due process" which are and will be overwhelmingly male, and subject to a disparate and discriminatory treatment.
