My guess is - from the format and some of the text - someone else created it with the idea of counteracting the Janie Doe page. The current structure seems destined to give the "ALL women tell the truth and ALL men lie" crowd more fuel for their fury.

I like the growing number of "likes" but I also wish it was just fan support and encouragement and moving forward.

i actually liked the page for a bit thinking it was just going to be a support page.... then the person posting kept going back and forth between first & third person dialogue.... very weird....

My guess is that maybe whoever made the page got it from JJ's facebook page? (That is if he/she is friends with JJ on Facebook) And whoever made this page just posted a status to "clarify" that the real Jordan Johnson didn't create the page. I think this page should move towards focusing on him as an athlete like the Marc Mariani or Chase Reynolds fan pages. Pretty sure Marc Mariani runs his own fan page though...
 
I just don't get it. Why would you create a bogus account? Who has the time to spend hours on-line doing meaningless crap like facebo...ah, never mind.

I can think of a few reasons. If you really had your undies in a knot about all the mean spirited comments made about you on egriz, for example, you might expect to see a few of those remarks repeated with identities attached on a JJ support page. Take a couple screen shots and you would have plenty of ammo to shame the crap out of someone.

Maybe you just wanted to see a story about the Janie Doe facebook page in the Missoulian, but didn't think it would happen if there wasn't a JJ page to be reported about, too. I think I read about both pages in a Missoulian puff piece about flower pollution in the Clark Fork.
