Your confidence is so low as a Cat fan that you are worried about who the Griz start? Hmmm. Something seems strange about that, but whatever floats your boat.

With that inept offense, I hope JJ starts! I'm more worried that the UM Athletic Department doesn't have enough flags for all the Griz players to carry when they run out of the tunnel.

You sure worry a lot about the Griz, which is very telling. Go Griz

What's telling is that you don't have any argument except something against his posts

Typical Can't poster. Feels confident and posts before the brawl. Slithers away after the game. This is your biggest game of the year. Enjoy the next four 1/2 days.

ISU was a much bigger game for the Cats than this weeks game. Don't inflate your ego too much their copper griz. This Brawl has a lot more implications for the griz than the Cats.

Ego. The U of M's program has been a roller coaster ride for the past five years. Ego is not what I have. Passion is what I have. I don't go on opposing schools websites and post crap about their team. I post on Egriz because I am a fan, not a troll. Confidence - you bet. I believe the Griz will win this weekend. Better than that - I have hope and a lot of it. Hope that the future of the program is very bright. The BEST facilities in the FCS, a new HC coming in, and a phenomenal recruiting class. I take my hat off to the Eagles and Ron Ash as well - for being successful and getting each respective schools fan base energized. Enjoy it. You have about one year left before the grizzly bear comes out hibernation. All hell is about to break loose upon the BSC and FCS. You should also be worried XP. Your coach was one of the names mentioned for HC. He may be looking to other schools as well that are FBS. EGO, passion, fanaticism. Call it what you want. I am not to worried about Saturday or 2015, 2016. 2017. Things will be just fine.

I remember during the McGhee era many Griz fans stated that the success experienced by the Cats was going to end when he graduated. If not that, it was always the steadfast belief that the Cats and Griz couldn't be good programs at the same time. It appears as though Copper is still stuck in this mentality. Copper, the Cats got 7 fcs wins without beating the Griz. Sorry, but it isn't always about the Griz. Sure, it would be awesome to get another win in Missoula, but here it is apparent that the Griz need this win much more than the Cats do. The Cats have had sustained success after the McGhee era ended. This weekend's game won't be a referendum on that at all, except if you're a the kind of fan Copper says he isnt.

I think one of the reasons JJ has been rusty is his inability to actually practice during the week. He has been in the training room instead of participating in drills and may not be able to get sharp with his passing. Oh sorry for hijacking this thread..uh.I mean....crap. It does say JJ's status. Sorry

"Sustained success?" You have a different perspective on that one. Rather overlooks the consistent beatdowns taken by MSU against Montana in your own house and a lack of playoff relevance. Last appearance in the semis came 30 years ago yet you have "sustained success." That's rich.

Most Griz fans had a far higher value for our rivalry with Idaho than with the cow college. When you win 16 in a row it isn't much of a rivalry, particularly with MSU's irrelevance in FCS playoffs. They remain wannabees.

To Cat Fans, it does, in fact, always seem to be "about the Griz." I've never seen a fan base so obsessed about another team.

  If THAT is sustained success, we ought to be putting up a fucking statue of Mick in front of the Adams Fieldhouse.

Does anyone actually have any information on how JJ's ankle is?
High ankle sprains just don't heal during the season. Lots of tape; he'll go. Reduced mobility; risk of another game-ending blow.

If it isn't always about the Griz, then why do so many cat fans post on here all off the time? I actually don't think the Griz need this win. The future is very bright for the Griz. Cats - you are stuck. Really stuck and if the OC leaves - yikes. You are worried about a Griz team that has been decimated by injuries this year. That is a huge compliment for the Grizzly program as a whole. New coach coming in next year, new facilities funded and going to be completed in the forseaable future, phenomenal recruiting class, best stadium in FCS. I feel pretty good little bro. Let it burn.

This thread has kind of moved out of the realm of relevant info... however...

C'mon LTCF get that right at least

Can someone, refresh my memory, I thought that Longtimecatfan was at one time, a constructive and thoughtful contributor to Egriz??? Do I have him mixed up with a different MSU poster? If so, who the hell am I thinking of cause it sure isn't him.

And unfortunately, I have a bad feeling JJ is just not gonna be able to go this week.

JJ will go. O saw him 2 times today and Sunday without the boot. I'm sure they are using him in a boot to A take all pressure off it and B keep msu guessing. Honestly SSH coming in forced us to shotgun and read option more. JJ had been told not to keep the ball due to his ankle. SSH does not have that. JJ will play tho.

No way in hell JJ does not at least start in this game. Senior, last regular season home game with hopes of a post season playoff game. Not to mention that thing called the Brawl.
Unless he is in a wheelchair he starts :thumb:
