ISU was a much bigger game for the Cats than this weeks game. Don't inflate your ego too much their copper griz. This Brawl has a lot more implications for the griz than the Cats.

Most Griz fans had a far higher value for our rivalry with Idaho than with the cow college. When you win 16 in a row it isn't much of a rivalry, particularly with MSU's irrelevance in FCS playoffs. They remain wannabees.

You have to see the irony in putting down our rivalry due to lopsidedness while simultaneously saying Idaho is a better rival.

"Sustained success?" You have a different perspective on that one. Rather overlooks the consistent beatdowns taken by MSU against Montana in your own house and a lack of playoff relevance. Last appearance in the semis came 30 years ago yet you have "sustained success." That's rich.

A very small percentage (obviously) of FCS programs make legit noise in the playoffs. To say the MSU has not had sustained success is just plain ignorant. Although I will do you a solid Kemajic and chalk it up to plain old griz homerism bullshit. The Cats have had 13 consecutive years of winning seasons, the tops in the BSC. No, the Cats have not made it far in the playoffs. They are one the cusp of taking that next step and becoming a dominant program. IF you were to look objectively at the Cats program you would see that it is a talented QUALITY program. Don't be a blind griz homer. And yes, the Griz have a quality / talented program. I'm not such a blind dipshit that I can't see that. You should try being objective.

I think the point is likely to be if you are regularly getting your ass kicked then you are more likely to think of it as a rivalry. If you are regularly kicking ass then you are likely to become bored with it. As much as some may believe that Idaho is a better rivalry then MSU, I doubt Idaho fans would see it that way, especially if they look at the W/L record of the series. Of course the best rivalries are somewhere about 50/50. With that criteria, EWU and the Griz are 5-5 in the last 10 years so that is probably why Griz fans consider it a good, current rivalry.

Yes, that is what I was getting at. Idaho has doubled up the W/L with the Griz, just like the Griz have with the Cats.
