JJ

Even though I love the school, I hope JJ lawyers up and takes them to the cleaners if they expell him and he's found not guilty or never even charged. Especially if they are trying to enforce a conduct code that didn't exist at the time of Foresters Ball.

I don't think it's the new Athlete Code of Conduct. The general Student Code of Conduct (General Misconduct, sections 15,17,18) is probably what's being applied here.

Don't forget this is JJ's 3rd visit to the committee. For 3 different violations. This kid is not the little angel you wish he was.

I don't suppose you would care to enlighten us further?

I beleieve that is incorrect, he has been to this "committee" 3 times for the same alleged violation, the first was an initial hearing and the next two were appeals.

From people I know who are in position to know such things, I believe my version is the correct one. I will not elaborate further and implicate anyone. I will say that I suspect if JJ were not our starting QB, or maybe if he were not white, he would no longer be here.

the wheels of 'justice' grind slowly...so JJ kinda twists in the wind....in this drawn out affair is he the ultimate fall guy chosen by the university to take one for the team...?

I do not think any are stating Jordan Johnson is an angel. Fact is, if he is guilty, then hang him out to dry.

If he is being CONVICTED or is PUNISHED based on a story without evidence, I and many others draw the line. Forget the fact he is our QB. That has little bearing in this case.

Johnson's life can and will be affected if he is kicked out of school for a sexual violation. This will have far more negative aspects than most are aware of. Forget football. Consider life after...he will NEVER be able to have certain jobs, will carry this with him to his grave, many doubt he will "play" football or be able to afford college after a UM dismissal. The situation is far more severe than not playing football!

If he is innocent, he is still screwed. When our companies look to hire new employees it takes our investigator $50 or less to find out a person's background and of course this will show up!

Wow, the "race card". I wondered how it would take before someone pulled it out. We've heard gender, religion, age, politics, (a whole lot of other crap) and now race. My lack of faith in human beings has now been completely reinvigorated.

Is it clear that the action in the student court is ONLY related to the sexual charges? The Forrester's ball incident could be enough for an action. The restraining order, civil Or court ordered, could be enough to have him removed from campus. There is little way it could be complied with with both students on campus......

We accuse the university of going off half cocked, and yet the same happens here daily.

Actually, I hope he lawyers up now and sues irresponsible media outlets (like the Billings Gazette) and websites (like this one) for posting he was expelled. If he's guilty of sexual assault, convict him and get rid of him. But reporting rumors and innuendo is slander and that comes with a price tag.

Actually its not, and the Gazette blogger corrected it. Slander has to include intent.

I just puked maroonandsilver. You lost all credibility by pulling the race card. Pathetic really and seems you have an axe to grind with JJ. You must be all butt hurt because he did not pay attention to you or give you an autograph at some point. I really don't give a sh&t what color his skin is, the kid deserves due process and you are being a total a$$ clown. You already have implicated JJ by making statements on this board about him not being the "angel" we wished he was and that he is now on his third trip in front of the committee. State facts or crawl back into your snake hole and be gone.

Didn't JJ have one against her, as well? I thought I read that somewhere.
