He is in jail because he is accused of rape? I hope he will be bailed out quickly!
No kidding... now someone can be accused for a crime & held against their will. Nice. :|
Jesus H Christ... are you serious? I don't know what the average I.Q. on this sight is but has to rank with the lowest of any website in the world. You mean a person that gets charged and arrested for rape might have to sit in jail until they get bailed out? That's is... I'm moving to North Korea.

???? Are you saying there were no texts between them afterward? I think you are correct but there were plenty of texts between her and her friends.PTGrizzly said:Don't you guys think that if there were texts from either one of them discussing their lack of a future together, that JJ would have been charged?
Quite honestly, I don't think he would have. I mean, that's quite a bit of evidence that what she is doing is revenge based. Obviously her lawyer has had access to the texts that were sent and received. This leads me to believe there were no texts discussing a future relationship or something like that.
Do you really think so? It would seem at this point that the prosecution has had way more preparation time than the defense, wouldn't more time be an advantage for the defense? I'm no lawyer just asking.bearister said:One wild card is that the prosecutors have listed David Aronofsky and Charles Couture on their witness list. This may mean that they have some damaging statements JJ made during the Code of Conduct case. They'll have to produce all of that stuff for the defense prior to trial.
As far as how long this will take, it is not unusual for felony cases to take a year or more to get to trial, but JJ has a constitutional right to a speedy trial and under the circumstances it would seem prudent for the defense to assert JJ's speedy trial right and push for a trial as soon as possible.
I bet I know who pays...ilovethecats said:a lot of you guys have a lot of lunches with a lot of the best lawyers in the state.... :liar:

It certainly doesn't help him, but I think the most damaging evidence will be the testimony of mental health professional(s) that she's been allegedly seeing since the incident. PTSD/rape trauma would be hard to fake.
I'm not proclaiming guilt or innocence on either party, but I do question, if JJ were innocent, why she would go to such lengths to say he raped her. Both of their lives are going to be ruined because of this. Perhaps I'm just uninformed, but I don't see her making any money off of this... did the incident happen on campus?
