The one thing I feel most likely to hurt JJ and he suposedly admitted it. He was under the influence of alcohol, so most of what he says happened will be highly questionable.

If the prosecution had a valid scientific measurement of his blood alcohol that could indeed help them, but they don't.
The defense could also argue that JJ indeed was exercising clear judgement and prudence when he called his friend to come pick him up because he had consumed 3-4 beers and wanted to be cautious about drinking and driving.

Well case over. If he pleads not guilty then he isn't guilty. No wait, that is what the victim's proponents do, they believe everything she says and pronounce guilt without hearing both sides. I guess we better let this thing play out. Seems like there is a difference of opinion and we don't have all the evidence yet. :thumb:

Quite honestly, I don't think he would have. I mean, that's quite a bit of evidence that what she is doing is revenge based. Obviously her lawyer has had access to the texts that were sent and received. This leads me to believe there were no texts discussing a future relationship or something like that.

Do you really think so? It would seem at this point that the prosecution has had way more preparation time than the defense, wouldn't more time be an advantage for the defense? I'm no lawyer just asking.bearister said:

I'm not proclaiming guilt or innocence on either party, but I do question, if JJ were innocent, why she would go to such lengths to say he raped her. Both of their lives are going to be ruined because of this. Perhaps I'm just uninformed, but I don't see her making any money off of this... did the incident happen on campus?
