JJ pleads not guilty to rape charges

It certainly doesn't help him, but I think the most damaging evidence will be the testimony of mental health professional(s) that she's been allegedly seeing since the incident. PTSD/rape trauma would be hard to fake.

I'm not proclaiming guilt or innocence on either party, but I do question, if JJ were innocent, why she would go to such lengths to say he raped her. Both of their lives are going to be ruined because of this. Perhaps I'm just uninformed, but I don't see her making any money off of this... did the incident happen on campus?

It will be important to ascertain when the initial PTSD diagnosis was made on the victim. It could be surprising. :o

Nice write-up in the Tribune on the Griz practice, this morning...didn't see a mention of the kittens...didn't they practice yesterday?

'real' ptsd is characterized by a dysfunctional positive feedback loop between the paraventricular nucleus of the hypothalamus and the locus coeruleus in the brainstem, i.e. the neural systems involved in the regulation of stress responses and arousal (not the sexual kind). it can take weeks for the symptoms (dysfunction) to fully develop.

I understand wanting to analyze a case, look at all the angles, etc... But I am really troubled by this board and some of the things that are said here. The bottomline - these are two KIDS. Their lives and their hopes, right or wrong, are trashed right now. Neither is more sympathetic than the other. Their families lives are in turmoil. Their futures are in tatters. Maybe all you "football" fans would do well to remember we are people first, and fans second. Some of us here are parents. I would be devastated if my child was either one of these people. All I can do, and I suggest all of you consider this, is keep my mouth shut and remember "there but for the grace of God go I."

It is referenced in the Motion to Dismiss. The victim has apparently had PTSD diagnosed for years according to that document.

I didn't make the earlier diagnosis dipshit. A pseudo-psychologist like you must have. I am just reporting what is in an attested court filing. If you think that is a lie, make a move to get Pabst disbarred. Otherwise shut it. Simple right?
