Never said that. Can't deal with my posts, huh Kem? I see you refused to answer my direct question to you about supporting Bobby if he has another typical Hauck 2.0 season...... which is why I say this is a make-or-break season for the majority of Griz fans. Of course, you are a "Hauck-for-lifer", along with the lake-licker.
Fans on egriz have now become the Bobcats fans on their site for so many futile years of hope and prayer. Accepting mediocrity. Ignoring that they can not beat their in-state rivals. Being the brunt of mocking by the opposing in-state fan base. Hoping every year that things will change, but never do. Over-hyping new recruits who have never played a single down. Depending of a soft conference schedule to fuel their expectations, instead of dominating every season no matter the schedule, like the Griz did for 20 years. How does it feel transitioning from the big brother to the little brother?
Wash/Rinse/Repeat......... becoming an annual event
Can I make an honest suggestion man? Not trying to be a dick, this is sincere.
At this late stage in your life, perhaps you should find something fulfilling other than Griz football. How much time have you squandered over the years doing this? Whether or not you have valid points is frankly irrelevant.
The Griz program of the mid 90’s and 2000’s is gone. It is over. It is never coming back. Just accept it and move on with your life. You are going to have someone reading your eulogy with a bulk of it being your trials and tribulations of Griz message boards.
You've obviously moved on, since you rarely post. You used to be a great contributor, and obviously know football. None of the good football posters contribute any longer. Egriz has suffered the same sad fate as our football program. This board is now filled with court jesters, Hauck-lovers, and fans who are willing to accept the status quo. I also am quite certain that you agree with me that Bobby should be replaced as coach. Not sure you will admit this on egriz, but sure you would over a beer.
Yes, the football program we used to have for 20 years is long gone, destroyed by a ridiculous firing of Pflu, then a series of even more ridiculous hirings of Delaney and Stitt, which placed this program into a hole which we have no yet recovered. The "savior", Bobby Hauck was going to be the Superman who returned us to "dominance, per his very own promises when re-hired. Five years later, it hasn't happened. So, why do YOU, Raider, not support a change in leadership?
I have posed this question a couple of times, but no one wants to answer it. The Bobcats did not sit around and accept their position as the little brother in the state. They fired coaches, and moved forward until they found a coach who could accomplish their goal to dominate the Griz. My question...... if Hauck coached the Bobcats for the past five years, and had the same results as he has had coaching the Griz, would he still be coaching the Cats for a sixth season??? Ask yourself that question!
There is absolutely no reason that we can not return to the levels we enjoyed in the past. We have best facilities in FCS, the best weight room, the biggest fan base, a new indoor facility, and a former tradition of excellence (which is rapidly disappearing into the rear-view mirror). Yet, you too, go along with the participation trophy crowd..... accepting our fate, as if it can not be changed. Why aren't you pressing for change? Have you resolved that we will never be better, or you just don't care any longer?
Yeah, I am old. But I will not give-up on turning this ship around, and Bobby Hauck and his band of has-been coaches is not the answer. Re-hiring Hauck has turned-out to be just as big a mistake as hiring Delaney and Stitt. Until we conduct a SERIOUS national search for a head coach who can relate to today's athletes, both in the recruiting process, and on the field, we will never return to dominance. Hauck is proof that a sequel is never as good as the original.
