Is the 2023 Football Season Make-Or-Break For Bobby???

How many Cat fans still supported their parade of head coaches during our long run of beating them every year? Very few. And they made changes, until they found a coach who could succeed. But oh, this is Bobby Hauck, deserving of a lifetime appointment, with no accountability. The coach more powerful than his athletic director. The Griz God!

I didn't say, nor predict, that we would not have a great season in 2023. All I did was pose the question of whether another weak performance this season would cause you to want changes in our direction. And, of course, I already knew that few of you would step-up, being the Kool-Aid drinkers that you all are. And you call yourself football fans! I'm sure you live your life in mediocrity too, so this just fits-in perfectly.

You're too good a poster to fall in line with these Hauck-lover no-nothing posters. You actually know football, and it is obvious why you never post any longer, because of te sh*t show this board has become. When I read stuff such as "Hauck has the job as long as he wants, or until he retires", it gives me chicken skin! These so-called "fans" don't know suat about football. They are nothing more than social media pretenders, getting their rocks off on trying to out-funny each other. This board is now a joke. Hell, even Brint doesn't participate any longer.
 
I like Bobby‼️ But, I am not getting excited about this year‘s team until I see results. I will hope for the best. The preseason excitement is just not there for me this year.

My point is what I said. And there is no chance UM could go 0-16. Likely top 10. For sure in top 15. Potential deep playoff run. Appear to have all guys who want to compete and be here. Not complainers. That’s an improvement.

Just admit that you know I am right about Hauck having free-reign for continued mediocrity. The Bobcat athletic depart would NEVER allow their head coach to continue if they delivered Hauck's results........ which is exactly why they now dominate us in football and basketball. It's O.K......... we'll get-'em next year......... the new Griz fan mantra, stated in perpetuity. Participation trophy Griz fans united.

But we all know the inevitable will occur AGAIN next December, after we make our traditional early exit from the playoffs, licking our wounds from yet another unmerciful pounding . These same fans supporting Bobby will suddenly be demanding "changes need to be made", and the board will erupt with the predictable band-wagon-jumpers........ only to be mollified a month later by the promise of new kids being signed during recruiting season, and the annual hope that next season will be our year. Unfortunately, it never happens under this coaching staff. Some of us get it. Most Griz fans who never post here get it. But the majority on this site are laughable and clueless.

Statistically, this may well be true. But that's due in large part to the 761 screen names you've had.
 
The state of the program is in a good spot. No we are not the powerhouse we once were, but we’re competitive. Graduation rate is great, gpa is great, the student athletes like our coaching staff. Overall the program is healthy. I assume he will get another contract this summer before fall ball gets going.
