And oh ya, with that logic the big red head beat the Redskins Sunday so gosh Montana should whup up on Washington too. Duh.
What tickles me is that the know-it all sports media who touted Goff as the better bet coming from a major school in a big five conference is cooling his heels because he's been slow to learn the system in a pro style system which he wasn't schooled in at Cal - but Wentz was in Fargo. Also Dak Prescot, for all the praise he gets, couldn't get the win for Dallas Sunday. Some of the prejudice against 1-AA, uhh FCS, is taking a big hit based on Wentz's performance to date. Time will tell, but FCS players and fans alike should applaud his success.
And BTW, which player in all of the NFL is selling the most jerseys this week? Ya, it's him...the band wagon springs are on overload...
Wentz beat the browns, not the redskins, who have one of the worst defenses in the NFL.
Obviously Goff has issues to work on I guess but he will be starting there by next year. Wentz is starting in Philly due to a lack of any other competition. Now, he has played well and earned that spot so far but let's be careful about putting him into the HoF quite yet as he has played 1 game, against one of the worst defenses. This next week he's playing against another one of the worst defenses, and worst teams, so he should do well again. The real test will be week 3 against the Sdteelers
