So, you're telling me that an African American kid from CA or WA has academics as one of his top priorities for choosing a school to play football? Every one of these kids who are good enough to play at the FCS level have the goal of playing in the NFL. Academics are way down the list for many of these kids.
I'm wondering whether Marcus Knight with his 4.0 GPA is reading this.

If Marcus Knight valued academics as his #1 criteria for playing FCS football, he wouldn't have chosen Montana, unless he wanted to be a forestry major. UC Davis or Cal Poly might be his calling.

Sometimes, yes. I know that must shock someone like you, but I've personally witnessed this exact scenario. Athletic departments (at least the smart ones) track the top reasons why commits commit. That's how they determine what to showcase. "Academics" appears in the surveys more than someone like you might expect for . . . wait . . . all races. Ignorant post. Get better.

You didn't say, "#1 priority" originally, did you? No, you said, "one of his top priorities". Tied it to race like an absolute dunce. Ugly.

Sweetness, ban this fool.

The time has come; surprised he lasted this long, but it is clearly time now, and he must go. It’s 2021 not 1952.

Put this old man out to pasture and lock the damn gate behind him.

Why, because you can't deal with a poster who owns your sorry ass? You're a joke, and know nothing about football. Any poster whining about banning another poster is a loser. Deal with it, or take your ball and go home.

Show us the tracking results. We're all interested. I haven't seen a recruit yet who wouldn't give the standard "academics" answer when asked about why he signed with a given school. It's predictable. Yet, why do all of these 5-star kids sign with Alabama, Georgia, and LSU, when the can sign with the very best academic school in the SEC, Vanderbilt.

You'll try to spin it, because that's what you do. But you know I'm correct.

Do you know how a decision matrix works?

Here's your quote again: "So, you're telling me that an African American kid from CA or WA has academics as one of his top priorities for choosing a school to play football?"(emphasis added)

The answer is, sometimes yes. I don't know why you have such a hard time grasping that student-athletes of color consider academics as part of the equation.

Old man, you don’t own a pot to vim in or a window to throw it out.
You don’t even “own” the key to your room at the Vintage Suites on Camelback Ave.
The only thing you own around here is the title of racist pig.

How come? No racial undertones at all. Just an “observation”. It’s akin to asking someone if they want a burrito. Just ask cuervohola. He’ll straiten you up……

Of course you can't give Justin Green any credit for personally recruiting him. Hell, Green works for BH. Couldn't be that.

You're getting desperate in your love-fest for Bobby Hauck. Is there some hidden agenda there? My pissing contest with you just ended. I am bored with your lame retorts. You and Bobby should get a room.

It takes a real pussy to whine to the mods to ban a poster, and you fit that bill to the tee. Ignore my posts. You can't understand most of them anyway, with your Little Griz knowledge of the game of football.

See how you spin sh*t, alleging stuff that I never said. I never said that NO AA KID EVERY MAKES ACADEMICS A TOP PRIORITY. There are exceptions to everything. But that's exactly what you spin it into. I asked you to tell me why Vanderbilt, who plays in the SEC, and is recognized as one of the top academic institutions in the country, can't sign 4-star and 5-star kids who routinely state in interviews that academics are one of their most important things in their decision. Of course, you buy into it, hook-line-and-sinker. So easily duped. Alabama and Georgia are way down the ranking of academic excellence within the SEC.......... but these recruits all state emphatically that they chose these two teams because of academics. Yeah right, and I'm Santa Claus! They want to get to the NFL, and Georgia and Alabama give them the best chance to do that.

What do you expect a kid to say "I choose Georgia because my girlfriend goes there"??? That may be the reason, but he's gonna say that academics was important in his decision. And you'll buy it too!

Same story for Duke in the ACC, and Northwestern in the Big Ten.

You asked a question. I answered it. You can insult me and deal in absolutes all you want, but it won’t change my answer to your question.

This guy wouldn't ever face your grandfather in person, he would just go whine to the teacher that your grandfather was being mean to him.........you know the type.

I’m rooting for unco to get the win. Warm bobbies rear end up a little bit. Hell I’ll even root for nau to chop down the world champion(if you could actually win it after week 1 of the season) griz.

It’ll make CAT/griz a great time to be a BOBCAT.
