I think we woulda been up in arms if he gradully tried implementing it....
when you have a non exciting wet blanket offense like the cats are going to run...slow a steady wins the sky i suppose.
Highly publicized offense, he was a step above a high school coach in Golden Colorado with a fifteen year modest record, nothing more nothing less.
I like most hope for the best to come, perhaps it will, then again maybe not, however let's leave the reality distortion field, live in reality and wait and see if coach Stitt is what we hope for him to become, because if not disappointment will not lead to major disappointment.
At what point will you be willing to move beyond the bolded above?
Last season, as a division 1 coach, Stitt led the Griz as they:
1. Upset NDSU in the opening game.
2. Won key games down the stretch.
3. Earned a playoff birth.
4. Won in the first round.
He did this while installing a new offense, using three different QBs behind a mediocre offensive line, and managing a drama-queen DC pretty effectively. This year, some are picking the Griz to win the BSC and many think they are a top 10-15 team in the FCS - certainly a near lock for another playoff birth and home game. Some think this year's Griz can get as far as the national semi-finals.
I don't know how this season will turn out, but do you really still think he's just a step above a Colorado HS Coach?
