I SUPPORT STITT

I saw players smiling and laughing on the sideline while down 34–6! That is very disturbing. I know others must have noticed. I have never seen a team getting their asses kicked so handily look so jovial.

I noticed only 1. No. 5 after his critical fumble.

Who else?
i saw #5 giggling after he turned the ball over in his own red zone. If he isn't on the scout team I'd have him there with a special purpose this week... :egriz:

i support the griz no matter what but that team that came to play at weber looked like a high school football team the majority of the game. can't catch kicks, fumbling hand off's, missing extra points, terrible interceptions. You can say what you want but that was pathetic football. The refs didn't help either but man it hurt to watch players in griz uniforms play like that.

I will continue to support Stitt. I like what he is building, and think a new coach next year will set things back! I will go down with the Stitt ship and if I'm wrong all of you can say Mike Mavity you were one dumb sob supporting Stitt!

Stitt will be retained no matter what his record this season is. I will remind you after a couple more 6-5 or 7-4 seasons that he is on over his head. I honestly don't think he's a bad coach but for those here trying to compare him to Don Read, for gawd sake shut up.

Support Stitt, my ass! When he starts supporting his players I might think about but pretty sure I won't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is not Montana! =Colorado school of mines, maybe. You can't fly like an eagle when led by a turkie

I don't post much on here but I have to say get over yourself. It seems that every thread on here for the past week you have said that Stitt doesn't support his players because Strong got suspended. Multiple people have tried to explain the code of conduct procedures to you but you are so thick headed that it doesn't get through. Now I am not sure if I support Stitt or not, the jury is still out, but I in no way hold this against him since it was out of his hands.

I don't disagree with you, but I have yet to see a good explanation, or any real explanation, of why the code of conduct requires a 2-game suspension.

Minor correction. If you guys lose the next three games and end the season 5-6, and the second end of season collapse in as many years - Stitt is 100% gone.

Its not Stitt that needs to go...its his buddy Semore....and I'm afraid Stitt may be too loyal to save himself.

I think Neikamp as well...bottom of league again in special teams so last year was not an anomaly. Bring in a new DC and STC( or maybe try Shann as STC. he has seen it schemed and coached at highest level).

Yeah, our kick return's are horrible. Someone mentioned in another post that they hope the other team kicks it into the end zone each time. Its the best field position we can hope for.

Either way I don't think Stitt has anything to do with the decision

I'd be comfortable having Shann as a DC or STC. He certainly couldn't do worse, than the current coaches. I also would love to see the GRIZ bring in any combination of Carpenter, Mariani, Reynolds, or Colt Anderson to coach special teams and/or be assistants.

That game was a perfect shit storm from the first 1/4. Stitt did not throw 3 bad INTs. (Jensen finally had his "freshman" game. I don't care. He will be a super Griz QB. I hope he is OK.) Stitt did not fumble twice giving a short field and losing a late score. Stitt did not commit 2 targeting/disqualifying penalties that lost two key players. One who was filling in for the idiot shit Strong did. (Both, IMO, were called correct and completely the fault of the players.) Stitt and Semore put their players in position to make plays for most of the game. "No comment" on the refs. The last three recruiting classes are outstanding. I continue to support this entire staff no matter how the season works out from here.

Disagree. I won’t support mediocrity. I went to GRiZ games In the 70s and 80s, I’ll pass on that again.

:thumb: I've seen enough of Stitt. Griz need better than mediocrity.

You know what is hilarious, is that reading all of the posts from fans who support re-hiring Stitt, it is exactly like reading the Bobcat Nation site before Ash was fired. It was totally divided for those supporting Ash, and those wanting a change. And now, all of those Ash supporters wouldn't trade him for Choate for any reason! Reminds me of the days when so many Griz basketball fans held-up "Hire Don" signs in the stands when Holst was the interim head coach. So they hired Don. We saw how that turned out. Bottom line is most fans don't have a clue about making decisions like these.

Ya and when we fumble the kid comes off the field laughing.

Maybe why Stitt doesn't use JLM on Kickoff returns is so he doesn't hurt from the protection being so bad?

Yep. But the TV camera showed many Griz players smiling and laughing on the sidelines while playing like shit in the first half. This is the culture and atmosphere of a Stitt team.
