I mean did Cooper and Tim not learn or remember a damn thing from how Bradford ran our defense? He made our D last year damn good, especially when it mattered. We have a lot of the same players as last year, several notable departures but coaching was the biggest change. I know our secondary has never been stellar but this year is historically bad. Swiss cheese ain't got shit on our defense. Wholesale changes are needed this offseason.

I think you are underselling the departures. The overall on-field talent drop is significant.

I agree, we did loose A LOT of excellent players and obviously did not recruit to backfill and now we are paying the price.

Who was the last QB to start that was a high school recruit and didn’t transfer in that was developed by hauck. Look, I love Hauck, but he and his staff aren’t infallible

There’s no doubt Bradford is a good coach, but the loss of Gubner is the biggest difference.

The biggest issue was coaching. Second was the defense, and third was running the ball. Fife went straight down the field for a TD. We could have thrown the ball at will against them.

I wonder why they couldn't run the ball and had issues on defense.....and it was pretty evident that they couldn't throw the ball at will.
