And that was against the ones. BUT it was only against Eastern so it probably still don’t count.

Yep... I was going to start a new topic about the reincarnation of the QB position with a 5'11 dynamic playmaker. I think he will still be a Freshman next year since he didn't play in 4 games.
No, the 4 game rule only applies to players wanting to redshirt.Cuervohola said:Well, he can only Redshirt once, but the 4 game rule still applies. He could return as a Redshirt Freshman according to everything I'm reading. The article says "as long as they don’t compete in five games."
It's confusing though, as it doesn't say "Sophomore" anywhere.

Must have his cap off.
A term made popular by George Wallace running for President, 1972.

We run a heavy RPO offense. The QB almost always has the choice to throw it.grizghost said:Bok_Choi said:Nothing you saw today would suggest there is anything not to like. Makes you wonder why it took this staff so long recognize his abilities and get him in the game. I do have a theory…
.....supposedly he went off script and throw the ball when he was suppose to hand it off...dog house...
that's the problem with this old school coaching staff...a kid like this you have to let him go in a sense..
not my way or the highway mentality.....you have to let him make mistakes along the way without
stifling the talent...so much upside to a young kid like this... you can easily over coach it and lose it!...
or coach it along the way....

No one wasn't rooting for Brown, I've been trying to convince myself he has potential since Suck State last homecoming. It's been downhill since the red zone pick back then. We may not have enough of a sample size to be sure Britt can move the O, but we surely have enough reps to know Brown really can't. Pretty simple at this point.

It has a lot more to do with what hoops is saying. He didn't get enough reps for them to feel confident putting him in the game, and now that he has, he's shown that he might be the better #2 guy.
Yeah, you saw that on his INT. He had White wide open in the flat and all the room you could want if he wanted to run, but took the gunslinger option to get it to the guy in the end zone.'68griz said:Hoops watcher said:No one wasn't rooting for Brown, I've been trying to convince myself he has potential since Suck State last homecoming. +1 Brown has looked like a deer in the headlights since day one. Britt seems kinda fearless -- so he makes a mistake or two. He's got guts, and I fear Brown doesn't.
Scout team runs the opponent's offense, not the UM offense, and there are a lot of guys that play in games much different (see: better) than they do in practice.AZGrizFan said:uofmman1122 said:We run a heavy RPO offense. The QB almost always has the choice to throw it.

How does a player win scout team POY and the coaches have zero idea “what they had”? I mean they recruited the kid for a reason, didn’t they?
