I hope those 45 seconds were worth it Jordy

I'd be willing to bet that if you knew the personal lives of most current and past Griz football players, you'd have turned your season tickets in a loooooonnggg time ago.

You're one naive motherfucker.

They have all been saints prior to Jordy. :D

A lot of us wish JJ has used better judgement and had not allowed himself to even be under conditions where he could be accused of wrongdoing. Hopefully all other athletes are learning from this mess. He may well have teated her poorly. These are college kids and poor judgement is what college kids are all about. That said, who are you to cast stones and bash this kid? JJ has suffered more than enough already for the circumstances of the alleged offense. Time to let both of theses kids get on with their lives.

I finally read through the twitter feed tonight of all the testimony. I don't think Jordan Johnson is guilty of rape, but he is guilty of being an absolute dirt bag.

I was holding out hope that he was the victim of circumstance, of UM wanting to desperately prove the NCAA and the rest of the world that it was tough on sex crimes. I was hoping he'd come through this with class, be proven innocent beyond a reasonable doubt, and have the Griz back on top of the Big Sky next year.

Now I find my self disgusted by the young man. Not the accusations, but by his own testimony. I couldn't cheer for this kid and still look myself in the mirror at the end of the night, much less take my kids to cheer him on.

I absolutely love cheering for the Griz, but if he finds his way back onto the roster I will not be renewing my season tickets. It's going to kill me, but I just can't do it. It's a matter of basic principle. When my kids ask me why we're not going, I'll tell them why.

Hopefully in 20 years they can remember that lesson...

This kid basically led this girl on for over a year. Texting back and forth. Getting rides home from her after he was drinking. Then finally sleeping with her for what I'm sure were 45 of the best seconds of her life. Then after she chauffeured this dirt bag to and from her house, he shuns her because he's worried about another girl he really likes finding out.

This is high-moral character?

Sorry Phlu -- If this were your daughter I think you'd be whistling a different tune.

Jordan Johnson knew this girl liked him, but didn't have the balls and/or decency to say at some point during their year long text exchanges that he had met someone else. He was even to chicken shit to just not return her texts.

No he kept right on texting her. Kept asking for rides when he'd had a few beers. Then sleeps with her. AFTER HE ALREADY KNOWS HE HAS NO INTEREST IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH HER WHATSOEVER.

By the way I'm sure the girl he really liked was super flattered too.

Wow he likes me! He really likes me! I'm mean he still sleeps with another girl even after I drove all the way to Oregon to see him over the break, but at least he won't call the girl he used for rides and sex afterwards. Plus he'll lie to me about it -- I'm such a lucky girl to have a great guy like Jordan Johnson actually like me!

Sorry Jordan -- You're high school teacher and coach was apparently a great guy. He sure seemed to think your dad was a great guy. The team chaplain was a great guy. And it's just great they are all willing to tell everyone what a great guy you are, but you know what Jordan?

You've made them look like fools because you're not a great guy Jordan.

You're a dirt bag.

I still don't think you're a rapist, but you sure are a dirt bag.

For what it's worth, I think that girl you used was humiliated was crushed when she realized how little she meant to you. I think she was emotional after you broke her heart and the whole thing snowballed once it got going...

After a year of exchanging texts, of casual dating, and all those rides after you had been drinking; she probably believed you actually cared about her. I'll bet that night she thought, well besides "that was quick", I'll bet she thought that night was the beginning of the relationship she had been hoping for more than year.

NEWS FLASH: "No condom, no problem" is not something girls say to guys they don't want to have a serious relationship with.

And then you didn't even call her the next day? After exchanging texts for more than a year and asking her for rides all those times, you don't call her back ever?

Is it really surprising she thought she was raped? What else could make sense to a girl whose heart has just been crushed by you treating her the way you did after all she had done for you?

Common decency could have saved you a lot of trouble Jordan.

Instead of being man enough to be honest with her, you basically treated her like a box of kleenex and a bottle of lotion. You used her to get off and threw her away after you were finished.

Oh and you had her drive you home.

I'm sure you didn't cough up any gas money either, so technically I guess that means you actually treated her worse than a box of kleenex and a bottle of lotion.

Dirt. Bag.

Like they say kid, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned". I guess you've learned that lesson in spades.

I just have one question? Were those 45 seconds worth it? For the impact they had on that young girls life? For the affects they've had the careers of Phlu and O'Day? For the impact they had on your team this year as they struggled to replace you at QB? For the impact on UM and its reputation? For impact on on UM Alumni?

Where those 45 seconds worth it?

I hope so.

From one Butte guy to another... don't jump to conclusions based on what little information we have.

From Another Butte guy to you... EVERYTHING MCGF said came right from JJ's own testimony! How in the world is he jumping to conclusions??.. JJ is many things, but based on his own testimony, a person with "High Moral Character" he is not. I applaud MCGF for having the balls to call it like it is..

That's not true. Most of what the initial post stated is not even remotely accurate--let alone the ridiculous conclusions the poster came up with. The initial poster just make up much of the "facts".

Gee, by that rationalization I hope MCGF has stopped taking himself & his children to church! Seeing as how there, not just people of "high moral character", but also self-proclaimed messengers of God, use their authority & status to molest young children. Then, instead of throwing them to the fire, their superiors in the ranks of the lord's army cover up for them by sweeping their transgressions under the rug, allowing them to continue spreading the cheeks...er....word of God. Maybe in 20 years or so his children will understand that lesson.

Safe to say JJ is no Tim Tebow or Dave Dickenson. He may not be a rapist, but his decision making is a bit suspect as an individual that is supposed to be a leader, not like the rest of the sheep.

not you.... remember falling up escalators is not in the 'how to pick up & use a gal' handbook.....

as for the OP.... have you lived under a rock your entire life???? JC man.... get a clue....

I don't think that Jane Doe had any intention of this going to court. Whatever happened at the Forester's Ball was a big deal to her. The way to get back at JJ was to get him suspended from school and off the football team. Got him into her room and then came the rape allegations.

Through this whole thing I have wondered about the big time lag going to the police, but she immediately went to Main Hall (for a felony offense). I suspect that she thought that JJ would be off the team and gone and she would have her vengance. I also thnk she went immediately to O'Day's son expecting him to call his dad and say that JJ was a rapist and needed to be gone. That didn't work out.

What she didn't expect is Plugrad and O'Day not buying into an unsubstanctiated claim being enough to kick him off. Hence her angry text that was something like "I can't believe the Athlectic Dept. is acting like this!". Standing up to Main Hall cost Plu and O'Day thier jobs.

By now she had gone to so many people (counselors, friends etc.) who want her to finally file with the police that she files a report. Missoula City is under DOJ scrutiny and have to go to court.

There is more going on with her family than we heard (or didn't hear). Something was wrong with their response to this whole thing.

Could the whole thing have been avoided by JJ not going into her bedroom? Absolutely. do I think he is dirtbag who used and threw away Jane Doe. Absolutely not. He made a mistake like most of us have done at times.

There are victims in this case and she is not one of them.

As with most of us I got my info from the Tweets for the courtroom where the TV news reporters have done a great job.

Had this women not had "buyer's remorse" this would have been just another set of bad decisions made by each willing participant which would hopefully become a part of their live's lessons. Instead we have this.

I think most any man can look back on at least one instance where he didn't treat a woman ideally, especially at that age.

I agree with Yak, none of us know the full story or exactly what happened that night. Because we don't know, we really don't have any credibility in attacking either of these two people's character. It's dissapointing to come on here every night and see several posts bashing both of these people, from posters that have never met either JJ or jane doe.

Don't even draw the line at "men". Women at that age treat men like shit. I don't like it now; I didn't like it then. But it's been happening for hundreds of years. To ignore that fact is naive as hell.

She testified that she lied to her ex and broke off a date at the last second after receiving a text from JJ. Let's not get so high and mighty Butte boy.

This girl is a joke, grow up and realize that this is college. Your kids should look up to players. Your setting a horrible example as a dad by letting 1of 80 ruin the bunch. Seriously teach your kids that not everything is right but sometimes you can't let one thing ruin something special. one bad apple in your mind doesn't ruin a tree.

"Omg...I think I might have just gotten raped."

AS long as you are quoting from testimony, you forgot 3 words...

"NO NOT TONIGHT"......

Then later "no".....in baby talk. While looking over her shoulder saying "you're bad". :thumb:

Funny thing is how differently men and women look back on a sexual escapade. A woman with buyer's remorse wants to hide behind the law to reclaim her virtue while a guy just shrugs his shoulders and says "oh well, I've never had a bad pizza either."

ONE "No" should have been enough.... but reading some of the comments and understanding the intellect on this board, I understand that once is not enough for most of you....

If you believe her completely, then yes, one "no" is enough. If you believe Johnson, then the "no" was never really a no. I think we know where you stand on the disputed "no".
