Hey, he admitted it. 10 years for admitting to raping somebody is too extreme! Good Gawd. Is there something wrong with the water in Missoula these days?
If your attorney doesn't believe in you then you have the wrong attorney or are a genuine dirtbag. Rapist or not, I don't think BD is a dirtbag. He is a young man who made a terrible mistake and will pay with a lifetime sentence. I only hope the victim can move past this and rebuild her life.

I don't think Beau Donaldson is a dirt bag? Wow! Not sure what it would take for you to classify someone as a dirt bag? Beau Donaldson is a sexual predator. I would have shot that f***[*] if it was my daughter. And not to kill, at first. If you followed his trial it wasn't his first indiscretion. What the f*** is wrong with you? I repeat, what the f*** is wrong with you??

You're right about one thing, Beau Donaldson isn't a dirt bag. Beau Donaldson is a piece of shit dirtbag that should be held in prison much longer than the minimum time that he will do.
Well I happen to know a victim of sexual abuse EXTREMELY well, in fact I know several. It isn't always how you think it is. It is a terrible crime for which there is appropriate punishment and the victim moves on. With time and help they can become whole again while the perpetrator never will be. It is a stiff punishment.

Let me tell you one thing, you sit in a room with a child or young adult that discloses for the first time being sexually offended, you wouldn't think the way you do. I have sat through over 50 of those and don't ever want to do it again. Yes, some people do rebound and go on to lead successful lives but the vast majority DON"T. Those are scars that last a lifetime. Do some fucking research on the subject. Oh the poor perpetrator!! I used to work with them too and they are very easy to work with. Very compliant and very easy going and "upfront" until you turned your back. The most manipulative people you could ever imagine. AND the recidivism statistics speak for themselves, and that's only the fuckers that get caught. You are misguided.

Maybe having been a victim has really messed me up? But heck, I guess that doesn't make me an expert on anything in particular. It clearly isn't my job to educate you. I am out.

TNT, I never post...I just listen. After reading you spew your agenda driven shit for the last few months, I just wanted to give my two cents, for my personal satisfaction. You are a huge hypocrite that claims to have no agenda, but constantly criticizes everyone else that has an opinion, (contrary to yours). You have a personal vendetta, and it is pretty sick. You appear to be a bad person. You are a manipulator and a liar. You should probabaly shut the f*ck up and not post here anymore. The verdict will be read, and life will go on. You will continue to be the piece of irrelevant waste that you are. I don't like you. You will be exposed in time.

I agree with everything you just said. But that would really make you cancel your season tickets because the QB is a dirtbag? The reality of life is, most college aged guys and girls are "dirtbags". I think you are overreacting just a little.
It does seem like overreaction, but maybe there is a single mother or dirtbag/deadbeat father somewhere in his or a close family friends history that has influenced his views.

BDizzle -- You are correct. After discussing the idea of not renewing our tickets with my kids last week, I realized (actually they pointed it out) that I would be punishing them more than anything. So I decided against not renewing my tickets.

We actually had a really good conversation about the events that took place, so hopefully something good will come of all this for them. That was Wednesday night though. I was admittedly still on the fence and wasn't sure how I'd feel after a verdict was reached so I renewed my tickets on Thursday just in case.

We waited a long time to be able to attend these games and don't want to miss out on the fun we have as a family while my kids are still young...

grizfnz -- That's a dimension I hadn't even considered before...To be honest I wasn't exactly sure why I was so pissed off when I read his testimony on Monday, so you may be right on some level.

Very insightful...now I just need to figure out who the heck you are!

To anyone else I may have offended, although I continue to stand by my original opinion, I apologize for the way in which I expressed it.

I tend to speak/write before I think sometimes and come across in a heavy handed and harsh manner when I do. I admit that I could have found more tactful way to express myself last week.

Ultimately I think the correct verdict was reached. I also agree with O'Day's sentiments that there truly were no winners in this situation.

With that in mind, I sincerely hope and pray that the families of those involved with this case can find some peace and move forward and that the community at large can begin to heal.
