How many tickets remain?

I bet a lot from Billings and further east decide not to come. We'll be below zero for the HIGH's the rest of the week. Roads suck around here...

Speak for yourself buttercup.........my fat ass is flyin into Billings at noon and driving 5 hours through whatever the Fu*k comes my way.............no excuses.

Went downstairs & dug out an essential combo of old ice-fishing & hunting gear to keep me warm. I'll be there. But I'll be ugly.

MISSOULA - It looks like the freezing cold weather is testing University of Montana football fans.

UM Associate Athletic Director Chuck Maes told us late Friday morning that they've sold about 34 tickets more over the last few days - bringing their total sales to 16,034.

He added the school expects somewhere between 16,000 and 17,000 fans to turn out for Saturday afternoon's FCS playoff game against Coastal Carolina. The UM website lists the seating capacity of Washington-Grizzly at 25,217.

Maes says that both teams are busy preparing for the cold. "We're into survival mode here, so we have to make sure everyone stays safe."

The temp at the 12:05 p.m. kickoff is expected to hover around zero, with the Hellgate Canyon winds making it feel like between -15 and -30.

That's a bummer. I'm still looking forward to it. This game will be talked about for years. Wonder how long it's been since attendance was this low?

GO GRIZ!!

I think it used to be a common occurance back when we would have a home playoff game the week of Thanksgiving BEFORE the expansions.

Black it out locally   :D

We have not only lost the "fair weather" fans, seems we are losing the "bad weather" fans also.

Get out & Get loud!!

Unfortunately they would then black it out regionaly. Some of us are unable to travel to the game for work reasons or others. Still sucks that it is not going to be a packed house. Makes us all look like a bunch of pansies. I wish I could travel over there I miss games in WaGriz.

I might have to buy two seats just to fit with all the layers and blankets I'm bringing. I finally get to wear my entire Griz clothing collection...at once. I wonder if small propane camp stoves will be permitted...
