How many tickets remain?

Brint, we need to get a grass roots campaign going..Everybody move to fill all the empty seats as close to the field as possible. Who cares where your tickets are for? We need to ALL be close to the field to make a difference in this one.

Only 16-17,000 people expected to go to the Griz game tomorrow?!!, I think it's awesome to say I went to the coldest UM game EVER, C'mon ppl
I guess I can understand some of the (very) old crowd not going, but this is ridiculous, for God's sake we live in Montana, this is not that bad folks, we can dress for it (ask Hammer) - come support your team !

GO GRIZ !!!!

Agreed. If the cold scares you off you are not the passionate Griz fan you think you are. Man up, women up, bundle up do whatever it takes but the bottom line is get your asses out to the game and support this team. Scream till your throat bleeds. This is probably the last home hurrah for this team this season there is NO reason not to be a sellout!!! It isn't that cold out, bundle up and get your ass to the stadium!!!!!

Couldnt agree more. Guess tomorrow we will really see how many true griz fans we have. I understand some people cant because of work, but all the people that wont cuz just cuz its cold are truly not passionate. if there are 12k of us tomorrow, at least we know its going to be 12k die hard fans. Who knows, it will pry be the 12k that make all the noise even when its a sell out.

Okay now ... we paid our dues, so give us old folks a break.

Re: 1995 playoffs ... good story: which some of you may have heard  , but you others stick with me.

Griz open at home in the playoffs and kick the s**t out of E Kentucky, then do the same to Ga Southern. We drive up from Idaho Falls for these games (then season-ticket holders). After the GaSo game, we went to the Mo' Club to watch the end of the SFA-App State game. We all figured the Griz would be headed east since ASU was favored, and had the higher seed.

SFU pulls the upset (place goes ABSOLUTELY NUTS), so they're headed for Missoula. I have a meeting in in the Bay Area (California), so I have to re-schedule my flight to come back directly to Missoula. My wife drives up (over Monida Pass, which is mostly black ice, as usual) -- sorry AG1, but my wife was pretty good with nasty driving (white-knuckle, but good).

Coincidentally, I landed in Missoula (10:00-10;30 pm Friday, as I recall) around the same time the as the Stephen F. Austin cheer squad. They are beyond stunned at the weather one reports: "Seven degrees! ... That's not a temperature!"

Of course, it was ... and it got no better at game time. Their team got crushed, 70-14, and the Griz went on to beat Marshall for the NC. And we were on the charter and saw it ... until now, the highlight of our Griz fan-dom. :thumb:

We held our season tickets for over another decade, but the driving (not the cold) just got to be too much, particularly Monida -- with its really nasty black-ice zone. Sorry.

I actually talked to a guy today who's on the fence about going because of the cold and he sits in the terrace behind the glass.....
WTF!!!

Well the good news is there may be more fans at the game after all that had originally intended to go skiing tomorrow. Snowbowl has postponed it's opening due to the cold. True story but there has to be a joke there.

Are you a skier?

I'm 7 years behind you MG, and I'm fadin' fast, but I'll also be there tomorrow!

I've already started getting dressed...with all the layer I plan on wearing, it's gonna' take my old ass about 16 hours to get them all on!

Hopefully, Split-The-Pot will be over $47.00...

Just curious because I was speaking with a gentleman about the game and mentioned that I sit in the Terrace and may not go. Not because of weather because everyone I was going with bailed. Since then I've decided to go by myself. The thought of missing this game for no reason got to me. Oh and my seats are outside :thumb:
Go Griz!!

I threw on my gear I planned on wearing to the game and shoveled the driveway. I sweated my ass off so I think I'll be good for standing in the stands.
