but in the real world, many fans I know and talk to, both cats and griz looked at our schedules and felt they were pretty easy. sure, we didn't know app would be this terrible.
Well hardly anyone thought Appalachian State, coming off an 8 - 4 season, 6 - 2 in the Southern Conference tied for first (2012), with eighteen starters back from the previous year wouldn't be considered being at least #12 in the 2013 FCS preseaon poll.

I mean, why would a team that was ranked #12 in the 2011 FCS Final Poll: http://www.sportingnews.com/ncaa-football/story/2012-01-09/fcs-final-top-25-poll" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
...and #8 in the FCS Final 2012 Coaches Poll, with the majority of their starters (18) back for the following year (2013), not be considered at least a Top Fifteen Team for the 2013 season? http://www.soconsports.com/fls/4000/socon/FCS/polls/2012/2012_FCS_Coaches_Poll/index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And nowadays can't get one vote for the Top 25 with a 2 - 7 record. But before the season started?
