Hero Preseason Top 25

Is it the same Anderson that was a Griz OL player that a lot of fans had high hopes for, before he retired?
If so, I'm pretty sure his dad wasn't much of a Hauck fan.
I honestly have no clue. But I do know a few sports parents who have difficulty when their kid is used to being a star, and then their kid has to adjust to not playing as much at the next level. I see it every single year in multiple sports. They always blame the coach for "playing favorites". I spoke with a baseball coach recently who said he absolutely plays favorites; the players who show up early, stay late, put in extra work, and give the team the best chance to win are his favorites. I thought that was a cool answer. 🤷‍♂️

To be fair Villanova played in super high winds that made it impossible to pass which took the Janke’s and the TE out of the game. Then nova just had to fill the box. I think it was 23-12 or 23-11 but I don’t think that game is a great representation of the teams. Also the winner of the MVFC and BSC will be 1 and 2 in playoff seeds so I think that bumps nova down (in my opinion). The reason the cats are ranked very high is because 3 out of the 4 losses could’ve gone either way which leaves voters understanding that the cats CAN win those games against SDSU and NDSU. Also only graduating 11 guys and only 4-5 guys got significant time means the cats didn’t lose much and replaced well in the portal. If cats defense is good I predict a 2 seed in playoffs as an FBS win and 4-5 top 25 wins would be very very good. I think the cats could even lose one tough game and still get a top 4 seed because the schedule is so tough.
CAN win against SDSU and NDSU 🤣
MSU vs SDSU lifetime 1-4
MSU vs NDSU lifetime 1-5
GRIZ vs SDSU lifetime 8-1
GRIZ vs NDSU lifetime 5-6

CAN win against SDSU and NDSU????
When have they????
Cats beat SDSU 31 to 17 in the Semis in 2022... then onto the chipper - so obviously proved they belonged. Came within millimeters of beating both SDSU and NDSU last year... so again, there is really no gap there if that's what you're thinking. But yes, coming sooo close in those two games in not good enough, did not sit well with the program, and led to... what I'll say has been a very motivated off season for these players and coaches to not let that happen again.

Millimeters? How does that show up on the scoreboard?

Yeah, totally no gap between MSdUi and the Dakota States. 😂

Awful comparison. Gris are what you might consider a blue blood and the cats played in a high school stadium until 2010s. Gris are 31-56 against Idaho. This year was the first year where our lines either won or were about even against their lines… most our our linemen mentioned that in fall camp.

We played SDSU with a hurt Tommy and NDSU with a hurt Tommy and Chambers and we were winning for most of the game and were inches away from winning. The gris played NDSU very healthy and NDSU had their best WR hurt and best D-linemen hurt. You barely beat NDSU and then got smoked by SDSU. If we play them healthy we win no doubt.

If gris survive UND, WCU, Weber, and Cats they will 100% be a 2 seed… really only 2-3 good opponents on the schedule
So, are you just giving the Griz wins over ranked Davis, and a MV team transitioning to FBS and getting more scholarships. I see their roster has over 35 transfers from other schools excluding JC's. "Beard has 83 players in camp this spring, which includes 71 returning players, 13 newcomers and 21 returning starters." I expect Missouri Valley to be a tough game.

Davis and Missouri State will have a VERY hard time winning in WaGris. That’s why a barely top 25 UND team has the ability to win because the gris are significantly worse on the road. (Same for EW)

So it doesn't count that McDowell was hurt?

Damn. Too bad you didn't win those games you lost.

Awful comparison? Why? Because it doesn’t fit your narrative,
Head up records are what they are, and the Bobcat’s are dismal.
Personally I’d rather Griz play the Vandals every year than the Bobcats

Silly hoops. It only counts for the cats.

I posted this in another thread. "Has anyone ever had more excuses, some of which are silly, in posts on egriz, than mony? He's running away from the field, and setting records."

Bobby said he wasn’t, Tommy had to leave the games and Chambers didn’t play until Tommy got hurt.
You're drunk-ass OC played them at the same time on several occasions.
