I honestly have no clue. But I do know a few sports parents who have difficulty when their kid is used to being a star, and then their kid has to adjust to not playing as much at the next level. I see it every single year in multiple sports. They always blame the coach for "playing favorites". I spoke with a baseball coach recently who said he absolutely plays favorites; the players who show up early, stay late, put in extra work, and give the team the best chance to win are his favorites. I thought that was a cool answer. Is it the same Anderson that was a Griz OL player that a lot of fans had high hopes for, before he retired?
If so, I'm pretty sure his dad wasn't much of a Hauck fan.
