Or any age for that matter!Football and teams aside, I hate to see someone so young do something like this.
Oh, please keep clutching your pearlsSad but to be expected from a school that gives raises to coaches who get dui’s. What kind of example are they setting? They only recruit thugs to prioritize their win-at-all-costs attitude which has created a systemic problem, and not just with all their pending racism complaints. They are the Thug-U of college football. Sixx has been trying to escape since year one and he may just have to walk away after this year as nobody will hire him
Why are all of you bubs so sensitive yet so bigoted? Such a weird comboOh, please keep clutching your pearls
Running the M is for being late to meetings, not getting to classes, having cell phone go off in meetings. I don't recall any partner assault for a player ever at modern day UM (or ever). Wilson supposedly sort of bit a girl's leg when she was laying across him in a car, and he was fined but not arrested. Some fights. Some dui arrests. The house burglary 3 never played another down for UM. An all-American corner supposedly waived a gun out of a car, and was kicked off the team. The guys caught hiding from the rain in a garage, remained on the team. Hauck is generally tough on legal issues. Johnson was acquitted of his charges.Yep. Kicked off the team. Some places the punishment would've just been running the M a couple times. I've heard some places do that.
You can't provide one instance in which a GRIZ player was charged with domestic assault who remained on the team.Yep. Kicked off the team. Some places the punishment would've just been running the M a couple times. I've heard some places do that.

"Rules for thee, not for me."What about having to wait for due process to play out?
Yep. That was the corner they painted themselves in with their WAAC approach dealing with their drunk assistants."Rules for thee, not for me."
I know they said they were worried about lawsuits. Doesn't this player have an argument for the same thing that Housewright and Willie Mack could have argued? "My client has suffered reputational and financial damage without receiving the same due process that The University said was paramount before disciplinary decisions could be made. The University has publicly stated that they wait to see the results from a court of law from some people involved in this organization, but the student athlete is held to a different standard here. With NIL implications and the loss of his scholarship, as well as the likely loss of future income associated with NIL and loss of scholarship, there are clear damages here." I don't know. Kind of writes itself.
Or he sucked in spring ball."Rules for thee, not for me."

My guess would be the player isn't an employee. Or at least hasn't been until the last year really. But a coach is. And everyone who's ever had to fire someone knows you better cross some t's and dot som i's. A student has to sign a code of conduct. So they can be held to it without extra noise. I don't know that coaches even have to sign whatever the clause is that teachers have to. The one they use to fire teachers tbay become strippers and what not."Rules for thee, not for me."

I'll discuss whatever you want to discuss. I agree that it was disappointing that both coaches remained on the team. I had my doubts about WMG before he set foot on our football field and wasn't thrilled with the hire. You can't provide one instance in which a GRIZ player was charged with domestic assault who remained on the team.
Now, there are places where assistants are able to collect their third (THIRD!!!!!) DUI (after already being fired by a program for cheating) to remain a salaried employee in charge of mentoring young men. But my hunch is you'd rather not discuss that place.
