I said your examples were 20 years old. I rounded up on two, but the years you referenced were guys who played in 2007, 2009, and 2000. On average, that comes out to 19.6666 years ago. Wasn't that the same time there were murders and a cocaine ring run out of the locker room at MSU? I will google too, oh, wait, there it is.

Fans of every team could complain about past legal issues for their rivals if they go back far enough. You're willfully ignoring that THIS conversation is about the way there are different standards for your coaches and players. The situation at MSU is current, but you keep throwing those stones.
To add a moment of levity to this conversation, if we can't talk about things that happened 20 years ago, then the streak can't be brought up anymore.

pmfa is a no bond arrest you have to appear before the judge which generally if a weekend arrest means seeing the judge on Monday unless they are so busy they have weekend arraignments. Generally after they see the judge they are released with no contact stipulations....95% of the time the other party asks the judge to remove the no contact order and they honeymoon starts all over again....

Players don't sue when they get kicked off teams generally. Coaches almost always do. So yeah, they get handled differently.
Let's talk about recent things and I would ask if Holsinger got fired mid season? Or did the school keep paying him for the rest of the season? A player would've been kicked off immediately.

It's so frustrating. Some friends and i met a girl in Big Sky a few years ago and she hung out with us, telling us about how her boyfriend is abusive. She even showed me pictures. There was an extra room in the condo so she stayed there instead of going back to Bozeman. I gave her a ride back in the morning and where did she want to be dropped off? The boyfriend's place.
He was put on leave and then let go before the end of the season at the conclusion of the internal investigation.

It’s surprising to me that bubs are stupid enough to attempt arguing these points.
Oh wait. Never mind. Not surprising at all. Forgot who I was referencing for a moment there…as bubs are the stupidest people on Earth and will argue any damn thing. Even on their big bro’s website. And when it makes them look even dumber.
Let’s consider recent years, the time frame since BH has returned. Not much bad stuff has occurred under Bobby’s watch during that timeframe. I can’t even think of anything but I’m sure the bubs will be dumb enough to bring something up.
Meanwhile, during that same period at MSdui, there have been a litany of horrible things to occur. Just off the top of my head: the horrific coaching dui blunders (with raises
and a massive cover up too); how many DOE investigations? 20?; and now this heinous crime. What did I leave out? I’m sure there is more but I try to block it out.
Clearly the two schools are trending in opposite directions. UM has become a beacon of transparency and honor, while MSdUI is circling the shit pond drain.

Any time there is an incident concerning a student athlete at either school, it is not surprising to see a long list of comments trashing the other schools program. We all dread seeing one of our school athletes get into trouble. But , it happens from time to time and it always will. We are talking about young kids and we have all been there. The reality of all this though is that 99.9% of all the student athletes at both schools are good people. They do good as students and on the field and also contribute time to helping in their community. A good many are Dean's List students, some in very tough majors. Just my two cents.
