Hahahahaha, some of you posters are hilarious. I don't even know where to begin with some of these ridiculous statements. Some of you keyboard warriors on here either need to get laid or get a hobby. It's like watching a video reel on social media when a man asks a woman with blue colored hair, why do you think boys shouldn't be allowed to play in girls sports? But instead of of acting rationally and calmly, the blue haired woman just starts attacking the man because his question offended her. Forget about answering the question or talking in a civilized way or listening to both sides, she just wants the man to shut the fuck up because the truth and facts hurt her.
Idk if the ones attacking me can read or chose to read what my first comment was, but it was just a question on how can you be so sure this guy is gonna be dominant since he hasn't really played since 2021-22. I didn't make any personal attack on the kid or anyone.
But my question offended some of you so you chose to personally attack me on this site. Instead of having a civilized discussion, you blue haired women just wanted to attack me. If that makes you feel better because of your lack of knowledge about the game, to each her own.
I could be wrong but the same people who attack me for asking a question then go on saying this kid will dominate and I believe in the efforts the coaches put forth in recruiting are the same who talk shit about the coaches when we lose and single out players when they play bad.
Your argument here I don't quite follow. But I understood what you said initially. I agree that a high school career and accolades are no guarantee of really anything once you get in mix and compete with others that have also been putting in the work for years. Some players develop later and injuries are a real factor. Look at some of our Griz all time greats Tim Hauck, Colt Anderson and O'Connell for example. Walk ons and D2 transfers. So I guess the key word is "dominant" and how you define that. Is a 1st team All Big Sky player dominant or just really good compared to his peers? That is what i took from his first post. Does this kid look like he can be really huge addition to Griz? Hell yea. And I think if he stays healthy he will.

He'll be fine. As important is that most of the defense is under year two with this DC coaching scheme. At critical times in 2024, the safety and linebacker didn't mesh well. As a result the Griz gave up some big plays-- Weber State would be an example.
This year they'll mesh up better because of returning experience (inexperience generally costs everone a step), better communication, and transfers who presumably were recruited to FBS not just for size, but for their ability to make good pre-snap reads.

Are you saying Hayden Schwartz is gonna dominate in the Big Sky? I'm just curious how you came up with this analysis considering the kid played only 2 college games since 2022 and has been injured more than he's played. While being amazing in high school is nice, that was 4 years ago.
