Of course the people who either know nothing about the game or have never played college football gang together. Hahahaha. Did you read the first comment I made before some of you snowflakes got your panties in a bunch? If not go back and read carefully. Is this not a fan board? Because I question how a new transfer would, could or should be dominant based on what he did in high school. Basing your opinion on what someone did in high school and doesn't have really any college experience is ridiculous to say the least.
I played for the Griz for 5 years? How many have any of you played? How many of you know it alls played any competitive sports?
All I did was state an opinion and some of you took it to a whole other level because you're overly sensitive. I'll gladly debate any of you on the ins and outs of college football. You don't like my opinion then who gives a fuck. Just thought I'd educate some of you, not all, but some because those few continue to act like they know everything on egriz when you don't know jack shit

To the extent I have noticed Dutton's post, he has seemed knowledgeable to me. Seemed like he had some inside knowledge and/or knowledge of the game. His posts show that he knows 25 times more than Growler and some of the trolls who come and go, or get kicked off. He might be a bit new or naive if he thinks that there is much football knowledge on egriz. After he has 25,000 posts like the rest of us big mouths, he will learn that. Ha.

Again, you didn’t give any credentials on why you think it’s hilarious that someone sees potential in a kid. So you’re on the record then that he’ll suck? I mean if you think it’s that idiotic to believe this kid has potential, you must really think he’ll just be awful.

Well, self-described, omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent GRIZ authority, I think that our staff knows more about evaluating talent than you do so I am glad they signed Hayden Schwartz !!! Justin Green has been our recruiting coordinator for the last 13 years, was a great GRIZ RB, and played in the NFL for 5 years. I believe Justin and his colleagues on our staff are a better evaluator of talent than you are !!!
And please, quit being so humble--don't be so bashful and tell just tell us what a football genius and authority you really are so that armchair quarterbacks like me can just bask in your brilliance !!!

Yes, I'm saying Hayden Schwartz is gonna dominate in the Big Sky Conference similar to Zach Wagenmann. I also did provide a caveat and said it might take a year for us to see the results. I'm basing my analysis on his play in high school, his recruiting while in high school, and conversations with a person connected to the Minnesota Gophers football program. As many say, time will tell.

First, it's not like he "doesn't have really any college experience". He practiced against some of the best lineman in the nation in the best football conference in the nation. From my conversations with a person connected to the Minnesota Golden Gophers football program, their analysis is that he would dominate after dropping down to FCS.
I played competitive sports growing up and stopped playing football after getting cut from the 9th grade practice squad. (lol) I don't know everything but after being around football for 40+ years of my life as a player, coach, and support staff in high school, college, and the NFL, I've picked up a few things on how to analyze talent and potential. I also have resources that I rely on for talent evaluation. So while I didn't play high-level college football, it doesn't mean I don't know anything about football.
At the same time, I don't profess to know what the Griz coaches are looking for in a player and I will support their recruiting decisions because they are making decisions based on all available information they have at the time.

I think it’s safe to assume any recruit who had 30+ FBS offers out of high school is more than likely going to be very, very good here in the Big Sky conference. The game should come pretty easy to him.

Riley Wilson came in and dominated.. Hayden Harris came in and dominated.
Sounds like this kid had an injury and set him back. But, I think he's gonna be damn good. If Peevy shows up he's most likely to be the one dominating.
Never know who actually will show out but, you can be excited about the history of someone.

Hahahahaha, some of you posters are hilarious. I don't even know where to begin with some of these ridiculous statements. Some of you keyboard warriors on here either need to get laid or get a hobby. It's like watching a video reel on social media when a man asks a woman with blue colored hair, why do you think boys shouldn't be allowed to play in girls sports? But instead of of acting rationally and calmly, the blue haired woman just starts attacking the man because his question offended her. Forget about answering the question or talking in a civilized way or listening to both sides, she just wants the man to shut the fuck up because the truth and facts hurt her.
Idk if the ones attacking me can read or chose to read what my first comment was, but it was just a question on how can you be so sure this guy is gonna be dominant since he hasn't really played since 2021-22. I didn't make any personal attack on the kid or anyone.
But my question offended some of you so you chose to personally attack me on this site. Instead of having a civilized discussion, you blue haired women just wanted to attack me. If that makes you feel better because of your lack of knowledge about the game, to each her own.

My laughing faces were directed and billings because I found it hilarious that someone put a thumbs down on my comment because I simply asked a question. Learn to read and stop assuming things because i didn't say the kid will suck, I didn't think it was idiotic to believe in his potential.
