Hauck contract

Is "being better" enough, though? PR wants to excuse away the 4 regular season losses last year due to injured starting QBs, while at the same time discounting the injuries (and lack of scholarships) that Stitt teams had to deal with. It's disingenuous.
I agree with the bolded sentence, BTW.

I have cited only 2 losses, SS and Weber, due to Johnson not playing. You sure don't know how to count for someone who claims to be a CFO of a multi-billion company.

Well in the past you’ve blamed the Idaho loss on his sickness and being less than 100%, so that’s 3/4.

 You wanna google me? Unlike some, I don’t “claim” to be anything I’m not. Ask Chris Lynn. Or Titleist. Or AlphaGriz. Ask Reinell. Ask UrsusArctos. Or UtahGriz. Ask polsongrizz. Or dbackjon. Or EverettGriz. They (and many others) have all met me and know exactly what I do.

Oh, and as of 7/31/23, precisely $13.347 Billion. 2217 employees. 72 branch offices across three states.

Dick measuring contest, surprise surprise, surprise!!! Who takes the high ground here?

Narcisist, by any example previously presented here. :?

Out behind the gym, right after school, OK?

Yin and yang!

You both can do better than this.

Yes, I said johnson was sick for Idaho but didn’t blame the loss on that. I don’t claim to be anything I am not. Alpha is an idiot, but feel free to ask others. I know football and what is going on in Griz football. You don’t. Big difference.

I've said this before but there are a hell of a lot of coaches out there, providing they are good managers and hire good assistants, that can go go 8-3 as a Griz coach when they schedul 3 cupcakes out of conference and the Big Sky is half have, half have not. You don't have to look any farther than Vigen to understand that a sixth choice can do very well in the Big Sky.

I guess Montana hasn't hired a capable head coach in over 2 decades. They should keep trying until they find their Vigen apparently.

Stitt got fired with a 60% win record over 3 seasons and a 2-1 record vs the neighbors.

Hauck sits at 67% winning record and a 1-3 record vs the neighbors in his second tenure (did not include 2 spring games.

For the sake of argument, are these not similar? I want to reiterate that I am simply bored at work, am not advocating to BH to get canned, and am rooting for the grizzlies to win every game this fall.

My point is in the college football world, Haslem and UM are in a tough situation in terms of a new contract with Coach Hauck. I don’t believe BH currently has a contract offered to him, otherwise he would have signed it. There is nothing stopping him from negotiating another one following a successful season, and bigger schools would simply pay the small buyout that BH would get. What if we lose 5 games this fall? Do you sign him to a 3 year deal? Are fans okay with that? Are boosters? Not an easy position to be in.

You don't know what you are talking about. Jeez, do you not know anyone close to the program or at the top of the athletic department. What you are saying and thinking is dead wrong. Why do so many people who know nothing not believe people who do know? How dumb is that.

I made a typo that Stitt was 2-1 instead of 1-2. You really have no idea who I am or who I am or am not connected to. What points am I wrong about? I’m dumb? You don’t argue against a single one of the points I made and instead claim to know my connections or lack there of to the admin on a public forum where you don’t have any idea who i am.\. How about refute my argument with reasoning? Or are you not as connected as you think you are?

Here's my favorite from Playa:

"One healthy qb away from semi finals."

Which means, if my estimates are generally correct, you cost the US Economy app. $32million in unpaid income tax annually then. Awesome!

I stand by what I said. You just admitted one mistake. You are wrong on Hauck contract. My info is good. I don’t have to know you or your sources, because I can see by what you have written on several of these things that you have no info. I didn’t say you were dumb. Read what I said. I know Bobby, most of the top boosters, everyone at the top of the athletic dept, past AD’s and many past coaches, and Bodnar. I know the 3 people Bobby consults on his big decisions, How about you?

Zero chance Bobby could ever take his coaching style/schtick into a locker room full of professionals. He gets to use it on college players but it would never work on grown ass men. His tough-guy routine would last about 27 seconds. It didn't go well for Frank Kush when he tried it and he was a much better football coach.
Your narrative that Bobby could have an NFL job that pays five times what he is currently making but just isn't interested is even more laughable. Time to let it go.

I am 100% correct. Bobby doesn’t use a tough-guy routine with the team. Most players like him. You are an idiot.

This right here tells me you have zero insight to these players. They do NOT like Hauck. I’m sure they tell you what you want to hear because they are trained to. And many know who you are and won’t dare tell you anything except what you and Bobby want to hear. They aren’t stupid. I know well over 3/4 of this team, and they do not like the man. I’ve had several beers with past players from a few years ago and they despise the man. They have great affection for many of the assistants. In fact I would say every coach with the exception of one coach and the new strength coach.

So to quote you like you keep on saying, You are an idiot.

If this latest churning of the coaches doesnt work out, how can you blame anyone else other than Bobby?

He got rehired, most were happy. He ran it back with all of his old friends as coaches. Some had questions some were happy. They had some success but no deep runs, lost a few to the cats. So he turns over the coaching staff again. If this doesnt work whats left??? We dont have any more coaches to reshuffle.

If this doesnt work its on nobody but Bobby its been his program again long enough. Success under Bobby is a blast, but when you get mediocracy under Bobby his talking and arrogance get old fast. It is truly put up or shut up time for Hauck.

I get my info on that subject directly from players and player-parents. More from parents than players. Of course, it's only a sampling.

Aren't you the guy telling us that Britt was a great qb and getting overlooked or screwed? How does he like being no. 3 at NAU, even with the starter going to the portal?

I don't think there was big turnover in the coaches. Two older guys retired. One OC moved to analyst. There was considerable reshuffling too. I agree that, on coaches, there would be no one to blame except Bobby. I've been told the players like the new coaches and reshuffling.

I don't agree that being ranked an average of no. 5 in FCS over the past 3 years of post-season polls, playoffs each of last 3 years and wins each year, and two 10 win seasons is mediocrity.

I know well over 7/8 of this team. I had most of them over for dinner last night. Over the roasted duck, spiced lamb shanks, and candied yams, I asked the most important thing I could ask about the upcoming season: Do you like your HC? They pondered for a few minutes while we retired to the parlor for the Shasta cola and Pepperidge Farm products that the help had set out in advance upon Chinette platters. It was an elegant setting. Astonishingly, many of them expressed that they did like the HC, and some of them didn't like the HC. I nearly fell out of my indoor lawn chair. After the Milano cookie crumbs that spewed forth from my mouth came to rest on the linoleum, the shock of the incredible revelation sunk into my brain. It was almost like some players on a team will like a coach, and others will not. It was a life-changing realization.

I said he was better than Brown, which he is. You are the one who says that I thought he was great. I don’t think he was great and never did. You just like to look like a smart guy, which you might be in your professional career, but you are not that smart regarding football, specifically Griz football.

I can can tell you that NO parent is going to throw their child under the bus for how he really feels. I know several of the parents too, nowhere near as many as the players however. You are very wrong on Hauck. But as long as you love the man that’s really all that matters. You kind of live in your own world anyways. A 6-5 kind of world!!
