Hauck contract

This right here tells me you have zero insight to these players. They do NOT like Hauck. I’m sure they tell you what you want to hear because they are trained to. And many know who you are and won’t dare tell you anything except what you and Bobby want to hear. They aren’t stupid. I know well over 3/4 of this team, and they do not like the man. I’ve had several beers with past players from a few years ago and they despise the man. They have great affection for many of the assistants. In fact I would say every coach with the exception of one coach and the new strength coach.

So to quote you like you keep on saying, You are an idiot.

I know well over 7/8 of this team. I had most of them over for dinner last night. Over the roasted duck, spiced lamb shanks, and candied yams, I asked the most important thing I could ask about the upcoming season: Do you like your HC? They pondered for a few minutes while we retired to the parlor for the Shasta cola and Pepperidge Farm products that the help had set out in advance upon Chinette platters. It was an elegant setting. Astonishingly, many of them expressed that they did like the HC, and some of them didn't like the HC. I nearly fell out of my indoor lawn chair. After the Milano cookie crumbs that spewed forth from my mouth came to rest on the linoleum, the shock of the incredible revelation sunk into my brain. It was almost like some players on a team will like a coach, and others will not. It was a life-changing realization.

I thought I had a creative way with words, at times, but JFC! CDA, you are the master. :thumb:  Well done!

Well in the past you’ve blamed the Idaho loss on his sickness and being less than 100%, so that’s 3/4.

 You wanna google me? Unlike some, I don’t “claim” to be anything I’m not. Ask Chris Lynn. Or Titleist. Or AlphaGriz. Ask Reinell. Ask UrsusArctos. Or UtahGriz. Ask polsongrizz. Or dbackjon. Or EverettGriz. They (and many others) have all met me and know exactly what I do.

Oh, and as of 7/31/23, precisely $13.347 Billion. 2217 employees. 72 branch offices across three states.

Which means, if my estimates are generally correct, you cost the US Economy app. $32million in unpaid income tax annually then. Awesome!

I made a typo that Stitt was 2-1 instead of 1-2. You really have no idea who I am or who I am or am not connected to. What points am I wrong about? I’m dumb? You don’t argue against a single one of the points I made and instead claim to know my connections or lack there of to the admin on a public forum where you don’t have any idea who i am.\. How about refute my argument with reasoning? Or are you not as connected as you think you are?

I stand by what I said. You just admitted one mistake. You are wrong on Hauck contract. My info is good. I don’t have to know you or your sources, because I can see by what you have written on several of these things that you have no info. I didn’t say you were dumb. Read what I said. I know Bobby, most of the top boosters, everyone at the top of the athletic dept, past AD’s and many past coaches, and Bodnar. I know the 3 people Bobby consults on his big decisions, How about you?

I noted a typo. I have known Bobby for almost 30 years. I know Bodar well. I know many boosters well. I have 20 years of experience coaching college football. I have 7 years working in athletics administration. I am currently involved in NIL at UM and a Mountain West school where I got my master’s degree.

I said Stitt had a 60% win record. Is that not true? I said Bobby has 67% and was 1-3 vs. the cats. Is that not true? I said that I don’t think bobby has a contract extension offered to him. Do you have evidence that he does? Why wouldn’t he sign it? If he has, why has it not been announced? You do know that he would be crazy not to sign it right? Even if it’s a lower contract then what he wants he can renegotiate after a successful season. So i have no idea how you can think that’s incorrect. I then began speculating at the possibility of a 6-5 season. Do you honestly think a 6-5 season would make it easy to offer him a raise and a 3 year extension?

You’re claiming be so in-the-know and that I am clueless, but didn’t refute anything that I said.

I'm wondering why they stay if everyone is so unhappy? The portal makes fixing mistakes made easier than ever. I know if you were to reach out to Chase Reynolds's backup, Andrew Schmidt, he would tell you that Hauck was no players coach, meaning he isn't going to be your friend, but that it's significantly different when their playing careers are over. I'm no fan of his by any means, only pointing out that if things are different than you signed up for, life is too short to waste some of the best years of your life being miserable.

Don't poop on any athlete that is on scholarship, especially football players. If the hours he has spent on football and training were spent washing dishes in a chinese restaurant for minimum wage he'd be money ahead.

Terrible analogy. I assume someone gave him a choice, wash dishes in a Chinese restaurant or play football, which he has played since Middle School. He chose football. Shows he isn't stupid, and no dishpan hands. My comment was intended as a compliment.

It's a perfect analogy and it's obvious that you're an arm chair warrior.

....and there it is. The boilerplate retort all good CU Execs have in their bag.

Just messing with you. Carry on.

I suppose it is possible that PR has simply imagined that contract sitting on Bobby's desk because he wants so badly to see his true fantasy fulfilled. After another four years Lil Robby will have four years of assistant coaching at powerhouse Portland State which will be plenty enough experiance for the big boosters, with PR's approval, of course, to use the same non-competitive hiring process Bobby recieved. He will then, continuing the Hauck 2.0 tradition, embark on 40 more years of Griz trying to finally achieve RTD. without actually ever doing it.. One would think, with all the people PR claims to know, he would be right more than he is. I guess that is the way fantasies work.

Okay, call Bobby and ask him, or Haslam or Sundberg. Ask Tim. Call Paoli. Heck, try O'Day, he might know. Ask if Bobby has gotten a recent NFL offer. Ask if UM is wanting to sign/extend him. Then report back.

Again, if you were in the know, you would know the status of Hauck and his contract. You obviously are not in the know.

Who has the best NIL deal at UM football? Can you name him?

Which big and important boosters do you know?

I am right on virtually all Griz football facts.

Haha. You didn’t answer any of my points. You said everything I noted was wrong, but can’t provide any evidence that it is. I said I don't believe it to be the case that bobby would have a contract extension and provided reasoning. You have not addressed my reasoning and you haven’t provided any or even stated that you believe otherwise. Why would Bobby not sign a contract? And why wouldn’t it be announced? Answer those questions.

Where did the NFL offer you are claiming come from? I mentioned nothing about it. Bobby has had plenty of opportunities to leave, where did I say that he didn’t?

And I’m not going to talk about specifics when it comes to NIL how would that be appropriate? You think i should come out on a public forum and state which college kids are getting good NIL deals and from which companies? And I’m also not going to discuss my relationship with boosters. If you think that’s necessary or appropriate you’re out of your mind.

You have yet to address any of the points that you state where I am in the wrong?

Yes, you should say who has the biggest NIL. A lot of NIL info is public.

You have to support what you said about Hauck and contract. I know the facts. I provided my support. I don’t have to refute your guesses. How stupid is that. You admit that you are just guessing. Ask someone, if you know so many people. Which big boosters do you know well. I call BS on your knowing Bodnar well.

Where in any of your posts did you provide your support?

I am making an educated guess because when you are in the last year of your contract as a football coach, you sign a new contract. Are you that stupid that you don’t understand that?

Perfect. And I’m just supposed to assume that you are the most connected person in all of Montana athletics? Are you secretly Dennis Washington?

Well... that probably cinched it. No lake house invite for you.

If you were expecting an honest, straight answer, you'll find that engaging with this narcissist cheerleader is nothing short of a fool's errand. You clearly don't need advice from the likes of me, but putting him on ignore will be your best bet.

You’re kidding me. I was looking forward to the lake house. What do i have to do to get back in his good graces? As I noted earlier, it is a slow week at work. Appreciate the advice. Go Griz

"Kent would like to do an extension but Bobby wants options."

This was previously posted. "Bobby is highly regarded at UM and in many circles, and we're lucky to have him because others would like to hire him away including the NFL. Remember, in Bobby 1.0, he was offered long-term deals but preferred one-year contracts. We are working on it.”

When Brint gets back in town, I will show him the texts and sender, and he can verify. Brint is aware of this, and more.
