Probably just me, but I'm really curious as to who that second excellent QB is? I likely just missed it when it was announced the first time.

Probably 2 excellent backups that have different styles from Vidlak. Look on the roster. Ones last name starts with an A and the other an H. Don’t give me the BS line about being unproven and blah, blah, blah. They will have an excellent o line and running backs this coming year. Mellot was “unproven” until he wasn’t. He had the exact recipe for success. Great O Line, great running backs and plays that set him up for success. QB is not the problem this coming year.

If Hauck thought the QB room was a disaster, he would have brought in an experienced drop down. There are lots available. If the QB room doesn't look good in the spring, I assume an experienced drop down will be brought in.
 
To me It's better in FB when in the preseason time period to under hype and over perform during the actual season (fans feel good) than to over hype and under perform (fans feel disappointed - like last year) during the actual season.

He couldn't get one. He fired his QB coach and O-Coordinator because the coaching was so poor. Rosey has been demoted to being the high school liaison because BH doesn't want him around the players being coached.

When they got Vidlak, they didn't need another one. Again, there are lots available. Rosey has been around players his whole life and had done fine with them. I have known him since he graduated from college. He used to have a house near us at the lake.
