Gut Feelings

Which positions is your gut saying are weak?

QB, WR & DL

Add TE. I understand #81 and #84 are no longer on roster. We only have 1 proven receiving TE. To me this means those we still have on the roster will be used for blocking to improve our running game.

This past season we only utilised #11 as a reciever. #89 actually got more passes (all in garbage time but still) than #81,#84, and #88 combined, admittedly only 6 in total. #88 is still here and played a lot last year rotating with #81 and #11 though used almost exclusively for run blocking and unsuccessful two point convert attempts (0-2).

Looking forward to #89 (Peyton Brammer) having a good 2023 year to compliment #11 (Grossman).

I’ve been waiting for Peyton to make his move up the roster. He’s a very athletic TE like Cole. He could be a bit bigger but that’ll probably come some this spring and summer. Elwell and Rensvold leaving might be cus they seen their playing time drastically diminishing with the emergence of Peyton to offset Cole this year. Having those two on the field at the same time in two TE sets will definitely cause some mismatch’s.

I feel this thread has come to an end.

I shared my gut feelings. These feelings were shared by many other Griz fans. I thank all that posted. This thread took on a life of its own. Totally unexpected.

Let's support other threads now and get excited about the upcoming FB season.

Go Griz.

My gut tells me I’m going to make it to two away games this year…Dixie and NAU. My son will be attending NAU in the fall, so I’ll be there. Gut also tells me the Griz are undefeated when I attend. This is a true story.

Go Griz.

You must be new here. 17 pages is the standard. I'll help get this one there.

O-line is below average.

Kidding...or am I?

😂 can we get there?
I heard BH prefers Maple and Sage Jimmy Dean sausage to Original and/or Spicy. Could this be true?

He’d be no Randy Taylor (Texas Man), if true, of course.
Could be worse. Not sure if true, but I heard Coach VI is crushing plant based sausage on Sundays.

It's true. Also, have it on good authority that a major scats booster hosted a BBQ recently with instructions to "...bring a 'lil something to toss on the grill." Coach V showed up with a couple of carrots.

That is such a Coach VI move. Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s true. Seems like the guy who brings parsnips to a BBQ competition and wants the judges to “just give them a chance.”

Now this could get us to 17 pages!
