GrizLax vs the scats

Just bumping this to let everyone know that Marcus Knight and the GrizLax team begin their title hunt tomorrow at 9:45a vs Air Force for the D2 Lacrosse national championship in Round Rock Tx, where the D1 and D2 national tournament are both hosted. The Griz are the #4 seed in a 16 team field that includes the #6 ranked scats. If not for losing to Air Force in their season finale, the scats might have been the #3 seed. Instead they will face UC San Diego, a team the Griz beat earlier in the season in San Diego. Go GrizLax!
 
Here’s all the first round matchups which will all be played tomorrow and the quarterfinals will be tues. The winners will then get a day off for the semis and a day off for the championship concluding on sat.

Every Griz game this year, home and away, has been streamed on their website for free but I’m not sure if the playoffs will be on there. Here’s the link for that page.

Air Force beat MSU 12-11 in the Rocky Mountain Conference Championship.
 
Tough draw and tough ending for the griz. Up by one heading into the 4th and losing by 2.
