Griz Vs psu

John worked extremely hard in the offseason and was doing all sorts of good for his game. He and Andrew were the talk of practice those first couple weeks and if he's able to give it a go later in the season, I think he deserves the shot.

I don't see anyway a 6'10" body can hurt this team. His defense is and has always been solid. This team does not have a defensive big man threat, as we witnessed tonight against Washington. That guy could have gone for 30 against us if they would have gone to him.

Well you can all hate me for it, but I firmly believe that Seyfert would only hurt this team. He was terrible last year and now he is rusty to boot. This team is rolling. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Obviously, if he recovers and can make it back he deserves a chance to play. I just hope it is limited duty. I just don't see what he offers that this team needs. He really offers little outside of senior leadership and his dedication to recovering might be inspirational, but I can't see him helping on the court too much.

That might be mean, but I just want to win.

I don't agree with you. Even is Seyfert was to "just" defend and rebound (which he does both well), that would be a success for him and the team.

Well put! If Jon plays, it will because Krysko thinks he can help the team. I also think it would be pretty magical to see Jon enter a game for the first time!

Jon is very endeared by the fans, and it would be nice to see him get into a game this year. Before the season started, he was looking like one of the few sure things we had left over from last year's squad. I agree that if it ain't broke, don't fix it, but Jon deserves a shot.
