The spuds and sac are tied

was Bodnar engaged with the game and crowd? Its good to hear he was there.PlayerRep said:NorthEndZoneDan said:you are right, old and quiet crowd. didnt these guys take Gonzaga to OT earlier this year?
Crowd was about 3200 and fine. Other than individual plays, it was hard for the crowd to get into it. The Griz killed UND from the start. Up 14-0 and never looked bad. Some unbelievable individual plays, passes, and dunks.
A very fun team to watch. There should be 5,000 every night.
President Bodnar was there, in a court side seat.

Right on! We should be able to get either one of those teams.
I thought a really cool moment was when President Bodnar went over and chatted with the Pep Band during their break at half time. I like sitting behind the band during games because they come up with some clever stuff. Always fun. Was good to see the end of the bench the last few minutes of the game. Lots of amazing assists tonight.PlayerRep said:NorthEndZoneDan said:you are right, old and quiet crowd. didnt these guys take Gonzaga to OT earlier this year?

Rorie, Oguine, Akoh, Nicholas, Falls, Pridgett...all impressed me tonight, and Krislovic and Moorehead did as well. Moorehead is a force defensively. The players looked like they were having fun out there tonight. That's a very good sign.

What really grabbed my attention was after one of Nicholas’ rim rattling dunks, ND quickly inbounded, and the Griz failed to get back, leading to a wide open layup. Travis immediately called timeout and layed into his players. He didn’t care that it was already a foregone conclusion at that point. He saw a lack of effort and immediately used it as a coaching opportunity. Love it. That’s how you build a program.
