Griz vs. North Dakota Thursday Night

Man I so respect what TDC is building here. What really grabbed my attention was after one of Nicholas’ rim rattling dunks, ND quickly inbounded, and the Griz failed to get back, leading to a wide open layup. Travis immediately called timeout and layed into his players. He didn’t care that it was already a foregone conclusion at that point. He saw a lack of effort and immediately used it as a coaching opportunity. Love it. That’s how you build a program.

Don't know if this was the play, but on this or a similar one, Travis yelled, "Get back, Timmy" as UM, I think Nicholas, was scoring. ND scored on the fast break anyway.

I thought it was interesting that UND started much of its bench in the second half, and kept them in for several minutes.

Whoa Fan. TDC has done a superb job of developing these young men but there is still a LONG way to go in this conference season. Loving this start but several other teams have talent and ambition as well. GO GRIZ!

I know, the odds are long, but you gotta have swagger, man!

Contrast this to Everett's view. He was concerned that our team had to bus 5 hours on an off day, for a 12:30 game. This UND poster is fine with his team walking to Bozeman on the off day, for 2pm game.
