GK, it is guard play. Cam is friggin' awful.
Notice that when he went out it went from bad to total and complete collapse?

All that means to me, is that the Griz need a point guard in the worst way. They were already falling apart even with Cam in the game.

This is not good. We have played poorly all season in the 2nd half and late in games...No poise-

Could be a loooooonnnnnngggg season...

When is football signing day again??

CET is the PG, his foul trouble hurt bad. Martin cannot run the point. He is not quick enough or that good of a passer. He's a spot up shooter who doesn't knock down nearly as many open looks as staudacher. I'll still take CET-Cam-Stads to start games.

Disappointing :crybaby: Another 2nd half collapse with lotsa turnovers and a real defensive drop off in the 2nd half. :twocents:

Another game, another second half collapse, and I think collapse is being pollite. I would have to say it was more an implosion.

Things got out of control again, you could feel it slipping away and still there was no lineup change to try and salve the wounds. I can imagine that is because of the foul trouble and we are so limited with who can take the ball down the court...

Seriously, though, at the start of the half we had GREAT ball movement and the offense was being run well. How and why did it stop with 10-15 minutes left in the game. They just stopped moving the ball like they did and the 1-on-1 game started again. Last I checked we don't have any LeBron's on our team.

Honestly to GOD what would it hurt to see how GRAVES would do in there? Christ Sakes this is so frustrating. 1st half they looked great, and doing all the little things. 2nd half, NAU came back and the GRIZ just lost it and stopped caring. I can honestly say, it was not coaching that lost this. The Turnovers were a fricken joke!!! Bobbled passes, passes next to impossible to make, etc. I honestly have nothing good to say about the 2nd half. Where in the hell is the HEART? If I were Tinkle I would PISSED more than ever, this is enexcuseable. What has happened to Rundles offensively? Got to give him credit for taking a few charges at least. Tinkle on the radio now.

It started RIGHT at half. We looked terrible at the start of the second.

So much for Tinks being pissed. Just said in his interview he told the guys not to hang their heads. That they'll stick together and not worry about what other people say.
He also believes that this group is capable of turning it around. I'm still onboard, and believe myself.
grrr, back to work now.

We've had big leads in both ROAD conference games against quality teams. So there are obviously some bright spots. Getting a great 40 minutes is the problem. I'm not giving up this easily. You all can. They haven't hit their stride, but they will and it will be a fun ride and y'all will be jumping back on the bandwagon.

NOT LISTEN TO WHAT OTHER PEOPLE SAY?!?! He called them out in the paper after the last game and did going into this game!!!

Sac State leading msu 30-26 4:40 1st half

I dont expect it to last, but needed some highlight other than the LG romp

Yup! Mental mistakes from the way it sounded. I don't know what to think.

That seems bizarre to me. Don't you call out the players in the locker room? That doesn't seem like Wayne Tinkle's personality to me. Something smells fishy about this season.

I don't know! SSU always seems so athletic and I expect to see them make a run this season. I see them as a spoiler and capable of beating anybody. I could be wrong but it seems like they are always tough to play in conference.

Well ...I was excited about his team after seeing them in Spokane BUt
this loss pisses me off. They can not play int he scond half ..what is up?

a few things

WE ARE DOWN BY 5 WITH 4 MIN. TO GO AND WE WALK THE BALL UP
DOWN BY 5 WITH 3 MIN TO GO...WALK THE BALL UP
DOWN BY 3 WITH 2 MIN . TO GO...WALK THE BALL up

NOT ONLY WALK THE BALL UP BUT THEN SPEND 10-14 SECONDS OF SHOT CLOCK DRIBBLING ABOUT 40 FEET OUT ..for mos to the game.

ok a couple positives.

Martin actually hustled nicely..Staud made an extra pass (more of that would be great) and he hit a nice 3 ball...had some nice
drives.

Stauds..Nice game !

Hasq..Make a foul shot !! no three ball please..keep your
temper down....opps those are not posiives..he did a great
job on the boards and Andrew did also

CET...nice drives...man his shot is rough

Thats all for me..I think i need a Griz break

Tinkle has gone to bunker mentality - hey if it helps motivate the team to think it is the media and fans that are the problem fine, whatever works. maybe what is really missing on this team is a good assistant coach who can take the players aside and motivate them.

Mick and Tinks agree the Griz didn't need to win this game - i guess the 7 game losing streak isn't important (I don't count wins over NAIA teams, just like the NCAA doesn't) because you just need to split on the road and win your home games to win your conference. Problem is, now the Sac State game is a must win, and might not be winnable the way this team is playing. So where does a loss leave you? Still thinking you win your home games, you might ve a shot at the tourney? Hoping to get to 10 D-I wins?

serious question, how many players have set their career high against Montana this year? Taylor last week, and Landry this week, Gonzaga and CS Fullerton players set career highs, i think there might have been others - I think it will be a theme this year. I wonder who sets a new high on Saturday?

I think I'm glad I watched "Mr. Bean's Vacation" with the kids.

I never thought I'd say that. :tounge:

Tinks referred to "our lack of depth" in the post game interview.
