Griz vs. App State Predictions....

Really hard to call this one. Our defense has great talent. However it's unknown if the defensive backs learned to cover receivers yet. Hopefully our coaching staff learned that receiving kickoffs is a good thing, and setting your line 20 yards deep on receiving kicks is a bad thing. Another question mark is our new offensive scheme. We have several good backs and a good QB. However it's still unknown if the QB can throw the ball further than 25 yards. If not, the new offense will quickly become one dimensional.

Overall I expect this one will be close like the past three match ups. With all the question marks I expect it won't be as high scoring as some are expecting. Yet I remain the optimist and see a 28 to 24 Griz win.

Two OT game with Griz getting the win by trumping App St. FG with a TD in the 2nd OT. I want a long game so I am hungover and hoarse the next day.
