it is gonna be a a defensive game....21-7 at halftime.......our corners and safties will have to play stellar to hold them to zero in the second half....to get the win.

I've been up and down with my thought on this game but its getting to be crunch time and I am feeling a little salty about this coming weekend. Always have trouble going with my brain instead of my heart but here goes.
UM-23 ASU-34 always seem to turn the ball over early in the season and Montana has a lot of new people that will have their hands on the ball. Pray I am wrong.
 
I am back from a long period of being out of the country. Not in re-hab. ---- simply working.

My thoughts are this. After talking to many of the UM coaches I am beginning to think they are running for a political office. Of course I tend to believe them and Gregorak is one of my favorites. He is a big dude and hard to argue with but his defense simply must improve over last years or we will be in deep doo doo.

If our corners and safeties play decent we will beat App 35 --- 23. I see our offense as a hard to stop bunch and if our defense can play we win! Forget about Lidder being a problem. I say he comes through and kicks well.
 
If the 2012 team could hang with last years App team, this years team shouldn't have any problems with the 2013 App team. Yes, there is gonna be some new guys gettin their hands on the ball but they're proven players. Not to mention JJ is gonna be back...
 
You beat ASU's best team in the snow.
Last year's game was great but neither team was 'all that.' I can't remember the third game between these schools, but it was a great series. I think ASU has made a big error leaving the FCS and expect years of mediocracy, but I will always remember that playoff game in the Snow.
Hoping this upcomming game is memorable.
 
We all expect this years Griz offense to be more effecient and explosive than last year, along with a more reliable defense. The offense is almost a certainty with the return of JJ and new system, but since the defense is mostly the same players and DC, that remains to be seen. I still have my doubts about the talent in the secondary, which could come to light early against App State's passing attack. Losing Price for ASU is a big relief for the Griz and should allow the defense to play more man to man coverage. First game is always the biggest unknown, but with the game being in Washington-Griz, I have confindence in picking the Griz in what promises to be one of the best games in the stadiums history.

Yes sir!! It's been an EXCELLENT Series!! I wish AP would stick around. Makes for a far more exiting game than our in-state rivals. They kinda suck. Good luck in the Big Time!!
