Whitney getting a lot fewer minutes this game; anyone got a clue why? Especially after he was the glue for the Griz last game...

Because Satterwhite??? is having such a great game.

Don't know that I agree with that. Satterwhite has 2 pts, 2 rebs, 3 assists and 2 turnovers so far. Nothing to write home about.

Maybe Whitney isn't feeling well.

Satterwhite has been disruptive defensively. As long as Knight remains in the game for SUU, Satterwhite will remain for the Griz.

Griz had 22 points in first 10 minutes 22 in next 20 minutes. Not many smooth easy hooks or lefty three pointers in that stretch.

Wait same game ? The pass to the low post is there but they don't hit it in time. Looks like the standard game plan, drive and hope for fouls.
I see too many people standing instead of moving and cutting.

Geez, I guess I'm not expecting flawless execution every possession while trying multiple lineup combinations. I see improvement and some nice spurts of good ball . If you expect perfection don't know what to tell you. Maybe wait for Xmas day and the NBA.
Anderson is playing his best game, so maybe Xmas is coming early.

Both teams have gone through scoring droughts. Griz will have to find a way to win with all of their big men in foul trouble.

UM is going to lose a lot of games unless they can clean up their fouling. This isn't on the refs...

Once again our shooting is the only reason this game is close, if we make just two of the basically empty gym three shots out of like the 9 we've had we would be up by 10. If the Griz would just make 2 more wide open shots per game things would be easy

Refs were bad in the 1st half but at a certain point it's not an accident that we're repeatedly in this position.

How much of last season had us in this same position also?

No, this is not the fault of the refs. Not here, not at USC....this is on players out of control and being more aggressive than they should and being called on it, over and over and over.....SUU is also playing rough.

Steadman is more talented, but Anderson looks more physical. Steadman doesn't seem like an aggressive rebounder, but hopefully he is just feeling a little hesitant in the young season and will find his sea legs as the season goes on

We are so bad from outside, SUU is doubling the post daring us to shoot. We can’t make an outside shot to save our butt.
Our guards can drive fairly well, but no one to kick it out to.
Go Griz!
