My thoughts while watching the game:
I liked the way that they were running screens with carter and akoh on the floor at the same time. Really worked well to free up lanes. I hope we see some more Carter/Akoh lineups to change things up this season.
Ben is really nimble for how solid that guy is and will be even better in the following seasons. I'm excited to see how he and Mack develop.
Timmy had some great plays down the stretch of the first half to keep us in the game when the Jacks went on a run. He may make some mistakes but there is a reason he's out there and he can be so electric.
The Jacks' Skyler can really get off the ground! He's fun to watch!
We really did everything well tonight that we have been terrible at the last few games; rebound, attacking the lane, free throws...
I expected their crowd to be more rowdy, but man, that stadium was crickets for large stretches.
Bobby showing exactly why he is on the floor a lot over the last 45 seconds in the first half... He really played well, including spurts of excellent D on Daum, all game.
I know the announcers said we weren't shooting very well in the first half, but, sh!t, 44% is a dream compared to the last few games...
Good God, the defense was stellar tonight. The trap was really strong all game.
The broadcast of this game was probably the best we have had all season. Announcers were good, you could really hear a lot of on court banter/coach talk, too, which I like.
Rorie's drive with 11:05 left in the game with 5 Jacks just watching him take the lane. Beauty.
Don't know about anyone else and why it was this way with this game, but I loved the way the rims sounded on made shots in this game. Yeah, weird comment.
I hope we continue to give more minutes to Manuel. He's earned it when he's in.
To do what we did in this game with the foul disparity we had was really amazing. We just made shots that didn't fall in the losses this year.
