GRIZ/Portland game thread

I really wish more people would show. There is way more people in the GA section tonight, but I think me and one other guy are the only ones cheering.

Whats with Tinkle and Jammar. He has hardly played him the last two half's. We need Jammar, Steward, Selvig, Cherry, and Qvale on the court at the same time. Time to let Wood earn his time. Good job Reader and Cherry, and Selvig how about showing up late again!!

GrizLA, Montana is now a football school. Not really sure there is alot that the marketing or athletic departments can do to get big crowds for basketball. The only thing that can get people back in the stands in success, and I am guessing that even with the success of last year, that was not enough.

CORRECTION: Montana WAS a football school (lol)

So a 7-4 nonplayoff season all of a sudden makes Montana not a football school? GrizLA, being the bandwagon, whiney, complain about everything fan you are, why are you even a Griz fan. We can start calling you WhineyGrizLA.

Why doesn't Vaughn Autry play? He has to present a more serious offensive threat than both Wood and Stockton. I bet he'd atleast put it on the floor and drive alittle more. Plus wasn't he supposed to be a great defensive player right away.

Was wondering the same thing. Doesn't his BIO say he was ready for minutes right away, and to possibly challenge for a starting spot later in the season?

Inland, my guess is Tinks is trying to find anyone that can make a few shots from the perimeter. They better hope they find someone with an outside stroke or it will be a struggle all season.

Yep. I'm beginning to wonder if Wood has compromising pictures of Tinkle or something. I've heard of letting shooters shoot their way out of a slump.. but you have to draw the line somewhere.
