Surely didn’t think we’d play worse than last year.

Why? What is really different?

Every player out there was here last year and shouldn’t be intimidated. We have dedicated 3-point shooters that we didn’t have last year.

And even so, when you struggle to do anything in the paint because of the huge size difference, which negated one of your biggest weapons on offense, you are going to struggle if you don't shot lights out from deep.

We have to find a way to score high 60’s to low 70’s to really be competitive. I think we have scored 30’s to 40’s the last 3 times.

Agreed. 33% and 21% shooting at this point.

Hate to see our seniors go out like this but they just shrunk under the bright lights. Did not expect that, especially from Rorie.

Well, sh!t. The Michigan D caused a lot of this, but we definitely let the big stage affect us and we shot like shit. These guys will unfortunately remember this as a disappointment, but I am proud of them and how they played against adversity all year. Unfortunately, we needed Akoh for this game and Idaho made sure that didn't happen. At least a foul was called on that play. Oh, wait...

Miserable to watch. Another blowout and missed opportunity. Pridgett looked go other than the jumpers but Rorie and Oginue do next to nothing. When are we gonna have a guy that goes off in a game like this? Sad performance.

The bummer of it all is that at the beginning of the year I truly thought this was a Griz team that was going to do something special this year....not get embarrassed in the tournament again.

I hoped they would too but they showed all year it wasnt likely. We have to absolutely pound everyone in our conference and win just about every OOC game. A team like that can be competitive. A team, for whatever reason, who loses twice to PSU etc is not ready to suddenly turn it on against a top Big 10 team in the tourney.

I am looking forward to the guys coming in and on the bench. Honestly I think we might be quite a bit better in 2 years than we are now. Do need to find a some stars for the 4 and 5 positions. Mack certainly may be one of them. Needs some experience against some big time 4/5’s and put on some muscle. I think he is more athletic than most 6’9” guys we have had in the past.

Rorie has 10 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, not much for TOs, and very good D. Just couldn't make a 3. tied for 2d leading scorer.

10 points isn’t enough in the tournament against Michigan when you’re the best player. I appreciate all he’s done for this program though. Great 2 year run and a special player for this program.
