Got 8 tix this morning. I thought EWU fans weren't going to let this happen again>? LOL
Section I on my confirmation shows up as "End Zone", so perhaps it will be more of the same.funny water said:just picked up 2 in Section I - row 18. Have always sat in the temporary bleachers at the other end so this will definitely be a different vantage point. might actually be able to see the scoreboard

I was referring to the fact that you give your tickets away for free and we charge our kids.HannahO said:dupuyer griz said:That's a good amount of students, I bet we could triple that if we didn't charge anything for the tickets.
Considering that UM has about 4,000 more students enrolled, you're probably right. It's all relative.
No, we don't.dupuyer griz said:I was referring to the fact that you give your tickets away for free and we charge our kids.HannahO said:dupuyer griz said:That's a good amount of students, I bet we could triple that if we didn't charge anything for the tickets.

So we were selling student season tickets for 50 bucks but they are free. Guess our math classes aren't real good...Tod said:No, we don't.dupuyer griz said:I was referring to the fact that you give your tickets away for free and we charge our kids.HannahO said:dupuyer griz said:That's a good amount of students, I bet we could triple that if we didn't charge anything for the tickets.

I think students can pick up tickets before each game for free. They were offered the option to simply buy season tickets for $50. The advantage to this is that the student wouldn't have to get up and stand in line to get a ticket.

Well, I would imagine it doesn't go over real well. I went to school in Bozo for an Ag degree and threw a fit over fees every year.HannahO said:dupuyer griz said:I was referring to the fact that you give your tickets away for free and we charge our kids.HannahO said:dupuyer griz said:That's a good amount of students, I bet we could triple that if we didn't charge anything for the tickets.

So you're saying the university charges activity or athletic fees and then charges students admission to sporting events? How do they get away with that?

Pretty obvious...that we charge for tickets...I realize it is optional, but that is a charge. I see it as very black and white, do we have an option to pay for tickets for students? Yes or No, I have never been able to see maybe or kind of.Htowngriz said:dupuyer griz said:but I was just told we don't charge students anything...I'm so confused (not really)mcg said:dupuyer griz said:So we were selling student season tickets for 50 bucks but they are free. It's optional. If you want to get all of your tickets at once, and not have to wait in line for them, you can pay 50 bucks up front. If not, you can go down to the ticket office each week and get one for free.
Pretty obvious you went to Moo U.![]()

Ok, I'll swallow it and say I'm not going to win this one. Sorry...just irritated that we have to pay so much for the tickets and they have made an extra area for overflow students who get in for free. We have a set amount I wonder what kind of a quantity we would get if we just had the kids show an id at the gate to get in and had it as standing room only.Htowngriz said:dupuyer griz said:Pretty obvious...that we charge for tickets...I realize it is optional, but that is a charge. You were trying to argue that we could get 3x EWU's supposed 4,000 student attendence if we didn't charge for tickets. Well, in the years when students didn't even have the option of paying (2007-2011) we didn't get anywhere near 12,000, which would be almost the entire student body.
