That said, this was a character building loss. It's a loss, and I HATE it, especially since all we had to do was hit FTs to win. But this loss will pay dividends.

Definitely true. Cal is very good... beat top 25 Syracuse by 14 at a neutral court.

Not a fan of "good losses" but what we did see today is that the Griz team can play high level competition and hang with them. Being one of the top teams (if not The top team) in the Big Sky is not out of the question with this team. The tough out of conference schedule will pay off I think. You don't get better beating up on everyone at home. Tough road losses, opportunities to learn, opportunities to see where you need improvement and all that can really pay off in conference.
