GRIZ at eastern Gameday thread

Tough loss! Came down to the wire and the Griz could have rolled over but didn't. Lot's to take away from the game but the season is long and you'll be fine!

Was definitely a catchable ball. We were one better grip from winning. Even with Brown going backwards and almost getting sacked. I think we would of won with Humphrey. His legs saved us a few times. Brown definitely has the higher ceiling, he's just learning. This is the best Humphrey we get. If his throwing was better he'd be a baller. But, his passing is suspect. I close my eyes every time. The play calling was vanilla af too though. How many 1st downs were a fucking run up the middle for 0-2 yards... Jesus. Our offensive playback must have been lost in a fire. If Brown was thrown in earlier and got comfortable first, that would have helped. Not ideal to start at the end of a game on the last couple plays when it's all on the line. He hasn't been in that situation. He did the best he could do with that little of time.
 
What a game. That was a fun game and I am actually not that all upset. We had a chance, the win was right there in the end zone in a Grizzly's hands, just couldn't bring it in.

Hoping that Cam's injury isn't as bad as it looked, but hell my hat goes off to him for that gutsy performance to give us a chance on that last drive to win it.

On to next week.
 
Plenty of season left. Need some players to get healthy and maybe Brown gets some reps now. Hopefully Cam only has a sprain. Brown made a good throw to the end zone

No EWU had a much, much, better QB. With a really good QB, we win by a couple of scores. Cam is a fighter but he plays not to lose. He is not a QB that frightens defenses.
 
Brown did everything he needed to do to win us this game. That throw to Grossman was amazing and should have been caught. Too bad-it would have been a great ending.
 
Ok, I'm probably going to make some controversial posts...

And, I'm going to blame it on the Griz loss and the 18+ Diet Cokes I've had so far...

BUT, I'd much rather have lost the game to Washington and won this game.

I'm going to drink some more diet cokes and probably come back with some more zingers....
